Oh no...I didn't know you have to find another pred source. This is so frustrating and upsetting. I hope you find it ASAP. I hope your storm has passed and all is well there. I'm glad T isn't coughing this morning.

Good luck with the prednisolone search, Melissa. Wonder why it is always so hard to find?

We still have quite a few left, but I wanted to be on the safe side and get some ordered now since he takes anywhere from 5 - 10 mg a day depending and it sometimes can take awhile to get it. I went to refill a prescription at the last place and they said they were out. Supposedly there is a raw material shortage for prednisolone and prednisone. I found some at Allivet and am ordering 500 so it will be awhile before I have to worry about it again. :roll: Now hopefully the vet will call in the prescription but he is usually pretty good about it.
 
Sorry about the coughing yesterday. I'm glad Tarragon is doing better today. I hope you really do get the pred. without any trouble.

I am glad things are better for tarragon today. Always a plus. Good luck with the meds, and being proactive about it all. Must be a worry hen you can't get the meds.

Morning Melissa! I hope the vet will call in your Rx fast and they can get the meds out to you. It's so frustrating when you can't just go get supplies you need! I am waiting on fuds for Chyna and am almost out...and the store hasn't got back to me on my special order. Should have ordered online I guess...ack ohmygod_smile .

Anyways, I'm glad Tarragon is his happy, purry self :-D I hope there is no coughing today, and that you have a great day :-D

We went to get a prescription for Tillie for prednisolone pills and it was $240! :shock: :shock: We ended up getting the compounded version and she loves it, especially the tuna flavor. I think that's easier to give her than a pill would be. Just a thought in case you can't get the pills for Mr. T. Nice start and nice to stay home to work! Have a great day, Melissa!

I'm glad that you managed to find the pred. I've found that it's easier to give Tess the liquids too. Mr. T must be quite co-operative.
 
Hoping that Mr. T gives you a nice surf today, Melissa.

Have you tried looking through 1-800 Pet Meds for that...? Just a thought. I may have to get Previcox through there for my horse as it's much cheaper than getting them at the vet.

Hoping you stay safe, and warm, and I'm glad that your boss is allowing you to work from home. I'm pretty sure that Mr. T is getting spoiled with having you home, also. :lol: Have a good day!
 
Thanks everybody. Unfortunately Tarragon will NOT take any type of liquid. We both end up wearing it and nothing gets in when I try. He is much easier to pill, even though he doesn't care for that either but at least tolerates it. Silly guy. :lol: At Allivet, the prednisolone pills were only $0.20 each so that was really good. They are 20 mg so i will quarter them.
