Hi Everyone,
We are not at the opera! We are home!! Yesterday was such an anxiety-ridden day that we decided to come home a day early so that Rusty would be able to see his regular vet, if necessary. Of course he knew that we were coming home and perked up immediately(!). He had a good night last night and today was a purrfect traveler. He had interest, energy, and appetite. We are relieved, and very happy that we came home today. We have enjoyed--and will enjoy--many performances of "Parsifal" over the years, but there is only one Rusty. (The LagoonMeister is now asleep on his vinyl bag, one of his preferred spots of late.)
Very tired tonight. Tomorrow I have to drive to Burlington VT to have the oil-consumption sensor removed from my car (so that it can be sent to Subaru for analysis). We thought our new car was using too much oil, but in December, when it had it's first service, they couldn't find a leak. So they installed the sensor and I have to return after 1200 miles, which will be tomorrow. I don't exactly feel like another long drive after having driven 6 hours today from NYC, but tomorrow is the only time I will have free this week. At least the weather won't be too bad (only snow "showers", not a snowstorm).
