2/5 Morgaine AMPS 186,+6 yucky yellow

Good Sunday all!

Morgaine is having her typical little bounce after a nice green surf yesterday. Her ears need a rest so she gets that today. She used the pee pad overnight so that is a step in the right direction. I put 3 of them down in the bathroom so she couldn't miss the message. :lol:

I am noticing that she always meows and yowls after eating. I do believe the vet is correct in that there is a digestive issue. She chows down but then yowls. So, after reading here about pepcid ac, I gave her a 1/4 tab of a 10 mg tab. I did that last night and will give her another dose today. I want to see if it helps her tummy and the post eating yowls stop.

Yucky yellow at +6, 223. She has also reached her renal threshold as the peeing has increased and the thirst. Hoping she comes down some before her next cycle. I always feed her, no matter what but I sure do realize the food increases the BG. I did check her for ketones and they are neg. I hadn't done that in a while so we were due. OTOH, I am sure they did that at the vet.

I hope she clears that bounce quickly. The extra peeing can't be good with her LB issues. I hope the Pepcid helps. Her tummy must really be bothering her to make her sound off about it like that.

i don't have answers, but want to say how much i admire you for being so in tune with her and her needs, rosalie. some people are kind of oblivious but you are very in sync with her. kudos! i hope the pepcid helps.
