4am feeding call he was STARVING! He at a WHOLE CAN! I had changed his food to "Friskies Special Turkey & Giblets" (carbs are listed at 4) I was feeding him Friskies Supreme Supper. We had given him his pain med with the Turkey & Giblets and the pain med made him foam at the mouth so now he doesn't want to eat the Turkey Flavor. I fed him 2 days of Friskies classic seafood (which seems to make his BG rise- given to him on 2/3 & 2/4-i gave that to him one other time and I think it did as well) and now Friskies Chicken and Tuna, I had bought these flavors to give him a variety before I knew it could have an effect on him. Just started the Chicken and Tuna this morning.
He is basically back to "himself". He meows when he is hungry and sleeps in his bed. His stool is still watery (from the meds?) He is still agitated when getting his ear tested, I am still using ointment and delica lancets. The one thing that has changed is he is purring a little more. He did when we first got him, then he stopped, so it's nice to have back. He lOVES having under his chin/neck area scratched and he loves his little pink pillow!
