Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy Wacky Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! GUESS WHAT! Today is WACKY WEDNESDAY!!! Just like every Wednesday Lola and Bug SWEAR that it won't be wacky pizzas, just wacky Wednesday. Whatever that means.... The whack-a-thon marathons continue. Excellent pizzas to the best whacker! OH!!! Big parade in the city today for our really cool football team. Lola nd Bug have decided to set up a pizza stand for all the folks. HUH? Are they nuts???? They say it will be funs.... we may have to all go there and help out some. Thye will be so busy...... so... well... Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Starbucks Pike Place Market, their original blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... It's Christmas! We have to have peppermint! ....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with peppermint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts always on the menu!

I hope everyone had a great Tuesday, that the was been a good one. I accomplished alot. Well fun stuff! Dentist was done and all went well. My friend couldn't meet for our usual Tuesday afternoon coffee get-together so I decided on a whim to just visit the city, walk the city streets, and see what was new. Really fun time, despite the cold temps. Here';s what I wrote last night about the day: "Hi everyone! I hope you had a great day. We are cold, maybe 32, feels like 22, and down to 21 tonight. We have joined the ranks of cold. We even had a few flurries today. such excitement. LOL! The clearing we were supposed to get never did show, instead we got white flaky stuff, for maybe 15 minutes. ;-) I survived dentist, a routine cleaning. and All is well. I have a very small cavity (BUMMER!) that they want to fix, so I will do that on Monday. oh fun.... AFter that, I toured the city. That was fun. COLD, but fun. The winds picked up so I am sure it was in the 20's, but I walked the city anyways. As long as one keeps moving it isn't too bad. I toured Freeway Park. Not many people there at all. And the ones that were there looked like Eskimos. HAHA. Went to Pike Place Market after that, spent alot of time there. It is such a fun place. Watched alot of bakeries doing their thing, loved the aroma of fresh baked bread. Beechers was hard at work making cheese. Love that place too. You can actually watch them make a batch. I'm not too sure what kind it was: a white soft cheese, which they cut into large blocks. Smelled wonderful. Not too many veggie stands... understandable i guess in the dead of winter. The fish guys were busy doing their thing. Sure was a fun time. About 1PM was was frozen solid, so came home. LOVED me day at Freeway Park & Pike Place Market!. I'm still trying to warm up. HAHA. Loved the day! There are big plans for the city tomorrow. Alot of folks are talking about the Seahawk festivities: a city long parade, with a gathering at the stadium afterwards. It's nice to read that all the transit companies, including light rail, are adding extra service just to get people into town. I hope they use it, otherwise parking and driving will be awful  ... Ought to be a outstanding day in Seattle tomorrow. :-D "

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   Elsa's whack-a-thons are still on the menu - again over her fuds bowl. Bug and Lola wanted some of hers, and she told him no way was she sharing. WHACKS to both of them!  You would think they'd learn.... But I do love how Elsa is asserting herself. There were times when she would just back off, let the others have their way, Lola decided yesterday that it was a good idea to go back to attacking my feet when I walked by... always after the pass, and she gets my heels. I thought we were done with that....Guess not! AIYEE!!! We had a day full of pounding from her: the glass, the shower door, thee sliders, the shower curtain... pound pound pound. Silly cat! Just another case of Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

This is for all you old timers, all of you that knew Mannie, and his efforts at being the LL Social Director. I love the Pike Place Market here in Seattle. It was also one of the places Mannie took the kitties to for some of their adventures. One of the most popular ones for all our kitties was the cheese factory at Beechers. I stopped by there yesterday, and had that moment, when I remembered all the fun the kitties had with those cheese vats... so - for all you that remember when:

Mannie, hard at work, making sure the cheese was just so!

Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. Nicholas and I are off to swim this morning, while William spends that time at the other grandparents. We are due for some very cold weather, down into the 20's, so I am sure that after the pool it will be an indoor day for the boys. We shall see... I hate to keep them in if it is sunny.... I will try and get to condos when I can....

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

How nice that you got to enjoy the city after your dentist appointment. Sorry about the cavity. I hope it's a quick visit to get it taken care of. I love the whacks. It's nice that Elsa is showing Bug and Lola who's in charge and protecting her fuds. Enjoy your day with the boys.

Well, if I was Elsa, I wouldn't want to share my fuds either! Especially at a senior age, you should get what you want  I love the cheese vat, and Mannie swimming in it to make sure it is gooood ;-) Have a good time swimming and hanging with the boys, Michelle! :-D

It must be so nice living close enough to a large city to get out and enjoy it, especially one that seems like it has a ton of stuff to offer! The pictures were great, I loved all the goodies, the apples and pretzel sticks .. mmmm! Bummer on the cavity, at least it's a small one they caught early .. hope it warms up enough for you guys to get out and enjoy some outdoor time ..

Hi Michelle,
I am sure you are having a wonderful day with your boys :-D I am so craving one of those pretzels covered with different chocolates!!! I had to go back and look at them more than once

I think I might like going to the dentist more myself if I could wander in that market afterwards :-D Too bad on the cavity, there should be a rule that no one over 40 should ever get cavities!
Cool picture of Mannie swimming in cheese~

Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. We did well here! We never really made it above 30, 25 now as I type, headed to 15 tonight, dang, cold for us! It may be cold, but the day was gorgeous. Sun everywhere, beautiful blue skies. The mountains look amazing. All were illuminated tonight. Woot on it all. :-D We had a good one today. Another two hours in the pool, closed out the morning session. He is feeling much better, only had 2 coughs while we were there, endless energy even though I could tell he was running on fumes. He did all he wanted to do today in the beach area, slides mostly and the noodle has become his new best friend. This is funny - he loves to take that noodle, put the end on the jet in the hot tub and watch the water spurt out the other end of the noodle, He had water flying everywhere. The guards were laughing watching him do this. Surprising that they didn't ask him to stop. The water really was going everywhere.   We did alot in the big pool too. Another one of those days when he wanted to toss this toy and then dive down to get it off of the bottom of the pool. He's getting pretty good at going down on his own, I rarely have to help with that anymore. He retrieved most of them, missed a few. Had a blast in the process. It was no surprise that after lunch he crashed in the back seat, down and out for a long nap. William now has that nasty cough too - shesshhh! and their dad is sick again too. I sure hope I don't catch this stuff. No sign so far! Feeling GOOD! William didn't seem to mind that he was hacking alot. lol. He'd cough and then laugh. It must have sounded funny to him. ;-) CRAZY DAYS on the city tonight. ALot of celebrations, huge city long parade, for our Super Bowl Champs, the Seahawks, alot still going on well into the evening hours. Last official report I read was 700,000 fans there. Some radio station reported over a million when on take into account the Seattle bars that were along the route. I don't know if that total is true, but omg.... what a great day for the city. and the good part? Not one ounce of damage to any property from anyone. How cool is that! way to go Seattle! :-D

Hi Carla - THX, I had a great time just exploring some of my fav parts of Seattle. It was fun. THX on the dental thing, it should be i very quick repair, or so the dentist said. Me too on the whacks. It reminds me of the days when BJ was the head kitty, she passed the torch to Elsa when she crossed. THX too on today - it was great!

Hi Rachel - I don;t blame Elsa either,. I am always telling her not to succumb to the nudging of the others! YAY! She is listening! THX on the vat pic - just one of the silly things the kitties did way back when. Good times! THX on today - we had such a great time.

Hi Devon - It is - living so close to Seattle. I truly can go so something like that at anytime. it is about 25 minutes from my house, and quite doable. we do ok here, lots of things to do, alot of varied "cultures" within certain areas too. The goodies at he market were great, - really good! THX on today - it was fun, but not very warm. It was OK though, both boys crashed, down for some long naps.

Hi Jane - Yupp! I did! The day was wonderful. Weren't those pretzels great? I so wanted one.... Too funny on the repeat look. I LIKE your rule! no cavities for any of us over 40! Funny thing is is that I really haven't had one in ages. Seems so odd to have one now. THX on the Mannie pic. Ann of Ann and Tess did that.
