Green yesterday

That green yesterday seems so far away! We got the budesonide yesterday and he got his first dose, 1 ml, at AMPS +10. So this ugly non-number this morning could be a bounce from the greens and/or the budesonide. I was so tempted to increase from the 1.25u but decided to hold off since he was just green yesterday morning. Appy is a bit better this morning and just now he is a chow hound! :lol: :lol: :lol: Maybe Tillie sitting there watching him eat is a bit motivating. We'll take it. :-D

OT: My niece is at M.D. Anderson getting more tests this week. She talked to Tena on the phone last week but I don't know if they will meet in person or not. Any vines for her good health are much appreciated. :-D nailbite_smile :-D

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans and sending them wellness vines. Happy Tuesday, LL!

Oh, dear! Not a pretty number.

I think you were wise to not increase. Let's see if this is a budesonide propelled bounce.

It looks like a bounce, so probably that's what it is. Is the Budesonide supposed to affect blood glucose? Anyway, Z-Man, come back down. We don't want to start up a Black Team right now!

BLECH on that amps. You being a bouncy kitty this morning Zener? I have no clue on the Budesonide.... but, Z-man, I do know down would be really good. Maybe one of your famous slides would be in order.

What a yucky start. I hope Zener slides down today. I guess you'll know soon enough if it's from the budesonide. Sending prayers for your niece Liz.

Morning guys! Blech on the bounce up HI ohmygod_smile I hope it's just a quick bounce or from the new meds. But yay, you got them! Are they supposed to affect BG? Paws crossed that they help the Z-Man muchly :-D I'm glad that Zener is happily muching his fuds. I hope you see a slide today!

Like Jane, I love hearing the words chow hound in Zener's condo. :cool: I hope the new med spikes his appy and not the BGs.

Likes like Zener is working on a classic slide! I'm glad the new meds came and I hope they make him feel better. I am sure you'll get how the budesonide affects his BGs in no time (then again, this is FD - will we EVER really figure out what affects the numbers???)

Well well, stinky pinky looks pretty good to start off this evening. Thanks to everyone for your support, suggestions and much needed laughs. We laughed out loud at the references to "chow hound" in Zener's condo, "budesonide propelled bounce", and "will we ever really figure out what affects the numbers?" LOVED Tara and Buster's picture of the black cat floating away under the red balloon. That one made me laugh so hard, I had tears...much needed laughter, such good medicine.

As hard as it may be to believe, some of the old timers here may remember a few Zener condos where we referenced he was "eating like a lumberjack". The lumberjack is the mascot of the university where we teach. And there is a long history of lumbering where we live in the middle of a very large Ponderosa Pine forest.

Budesonide is indeed a steroid and can influence BGs. So, we are watchful how that will play out for our guy and will adjust his numbers accordingly.

Hope everyone has a calm and drama free Monday night in LL.
