Managed to finally get a nadir- 239 at +6 Yay :!: !

Then her +10 after her PM was 151 :!: :!: .

At 7 (+13)- slept through the 6 alarm to feed her and give shot- was 314. so I am liking that it didn't shoot up past what it has been in the morning. She just finished eating so I will shoot 1.5u and test her ketones.

She has settled into to her poke place- a cushion I set up on the freezer and will lay on that so I can test her and give her the shots.

Still doesn't want treats...

We need to celebrate her first blue!!!! The nadir is the lowest point in the cycle, whether it comes at +6 or +10. The blue is a late nadir; I am wondering what the numbers on either side of it were. A curve will give us a better picture of what is happening.

While I can't get a +6 this AM I should be able to get a +10- I usually do on the weekdays. I should be home around 3:30 (+9) and will test. I will do a curve tonight through tomorrow night. I have something in the evening but shouldn't be more than 2/3 hours. Will set +6 alarm tonight, can get +6 tomorrow and probably a +5 and +7 to check.

bg at shot was 480, ketones were 3.9- same as the ketostixs- between a negative and a trace.

I think you have told us, but just want to check for sure. Your preshot numbers are before food, right? I am thinking you do feed her 2 hours earlier than the morning number though. Is that right?

Yes that is correct Sue. If she gets me up at 4 or later I take an early shot at that time so i know what the fasting number is. Before 4 I just give her a small amount- enough to keep her another few hours until I am awake enough to test and make sure that it is a fasting test. I so a pre-test that is fasting in the morning and when I get home from work which is +10 from her AM shot. AM- get a test when she wakes me up to feed her- has been 4:30 which is my +10 for PM, then test at 6 (-1/2), feed her again and test at 6:30 before giving her the insulin.

This afternoon at +9 she was 304- a great number as far as I know our stage of this dance. Then she ate almost a whole ounce of the chicken recipe mixed with less than 1/2 ounce of water. I am hoping to go half and half with that to cut down on her poop smell- FF has some bad B.O.

I am keeping an eye on the ketones for if they spike or go down with increased insulin (which is what my vet thinks). I will continue at 1.5u until the curve is over and I can see the results. How can I make a graph out of the chart :?:
