2/3 Shasta

WCR: All Ps in place. I checked her temperature last night because she felt warm...100.8 I think that's within "normal" range, right? Her mood has just seemed off for a few weeks now. However, she was a playing away with me last night with her little vicious self! This morning, she was very reserved and not very talkative...more subdued than I prefer. But, I finally got love and purrs this morning when she joined me at the bathroom sink. ;-)

Ok, so Shasta's appy was pretty good yesterday with the added Friskies 9% However, I'm a bit confused at her numbers all day...there wasn't a massive spike (not that I saw, at least). Is that weird? Also, this is the second day in a row that she was drooled on me when I've gotten her coconut oil out and ready for consumption. Is that weird?!

According to Petmd.com normal temperature for a cat is 99.5-102.5. Furball will drool when she gets really, really happy about something. I'm glad you finally got some loving from Shasta this morning. I hope she slides down to blue today.

Nice start today for Shasta, headed down, maybe even to the land of the blues. Surf well little one.

Love the drool. I had a kitty once that would do that - he'd be purring away, or see the fuds he likes and out came the drool. I guess Shasta really likes her coconut oil!

Funny how their moods can change at a drop of a hat. I am glad that you got those purrs and loves this morning.

Wow, Shasta is sliding nicely down for you! I hope she surfs it safe while you are gone. Some cats aren't as carb sensitive, I hear...maybe she is one of them . Chyna seems to have a "delayed" spike on higher carb or starchy fuds but I'm still figuring that stuff out. I'm glad you got some love and purrs today. Have a good day!

Thank you, Carla, Michelle & Rachel for checking in on Shasta today.

Shasta is still being quite moody tonight and as usual, it worries me. Her appy isn't great tonight, but I noticed she didn't have a good poopy tonight...thinking the back-up has to affect her appy just a little. :sad: She's hiding in her carrier right now, but we did get a tiny bit of play in before she snuck away. :YMSIGH: I am going to try to call the vet tomorrow about getting an appointment. I'm just worried about availability. I am praying they can squeeze us in on Saturday (fat chance). Otherwise, I don't know. I have to be there with her while they sedate her or she will shred them. :sad:

Ok, I am off to sleep. I've been averaging 4.5 hours of sleep a night the past few weeks and since my birthday is tomorrow, I am treating myself to an extra hour of sleep tonight...ok, well...45 minutes. Love and blessings to all of you.
