Go Purrdy go what a nice run he had yesterday, sixth day with so I thought a new green avatar was in order.

I picked up his lantus and syringes yesterday so I'm nearly ready for his arrival, just have to clean out all of Meg rabbit's stuff from the laundry and get it all cat cosyfied.

I'm glad that you'll be able to take care of Purrdy while your mum is away. That sounds like the very best arrangement. I hope he and Vyktor (and Meg) will become friends. We'll all think green.

Some green again today he is turning into quite the swimmer.

@Tiger and Ruth no they haven't met. Historically Vyktor hates everyone and has always been a fighter, he even hissed at a 5 day old kitten I showed him once, it was only about as long as a finger however he has mellowed quite a lot now and there's one cat he even allows to walk through our yard without going after him these days. Purrdy lives with another cat and they generally get on but Purrdy has also been a fighter with external kitties. So I don't have high hopes of them getting along. Meg rabbit will attack him for sure if she gets a chance - hence why Purrdy will probably be spending a lot of time in his room. I'm going to try with the two cats though. I've been studying everyone's suggestions for introducing new cats in some condos recently so will give it a go since he'll be here so long. Hopefully they will at least get to the point of studiously ignoring each other

Love the green themed avatar.

I've found the Rescue Remedy just lasts about half of the day. I put a couple drops in Neko's food before we put her in the car for a long road trip. I've a friend who used it a lot with a kitty that turned into a devil at the vet and she used to get 4-6 hours coverage. The other thing you can do is put a couple of drops of RR into the water. If Purrdy will have access to water while he is waiting on the ground, then maybe you can supply the water he will be served.
