Morning LL!! Have a little problem today--Moonie is low, she will drop by +3 I need to go out for at least 4 hours, when she will start going low & nadiring--
She ate a bit of lc, but what should I give her now??--Feed HC,Karo?, Leave timed feeder with HC?--She isnt eating that well...
Any help will be gratefully accepted!!

Hi Roni....let's see....I'm sure you will be testing before you go out..so I'd see what that is then. If it was me, and there is still a problem of going lower than you will feel comfortable with, I'd leave some HC in her timed feeder and then give her some before you leave. The only problem with that is her bg's will be higher at pmps...but at least you will know why.
Guess you can't take her with you, huh.

She is going up & I took a drop off her dose when I shot her today--She just ate 2 tbs. MC gravy & I will leave HC in the timed feeder--Her nadir is usually +4-+5.5 so she has plenty of time to drop! Thanks for the help! Will test before I walk out the door!

Hey! Neither of them ate the hc in the feeder..Did eat the reg food in their dishes somewhat
I cant type tonite as I got shots in both hands for trigger finger--Must ice them--Sorry if I cant get to your condo!
Will post her numbers though--One fingre typing!--Please forgive me for not posting in your condo today--Disabled like the smilies!! :)

Glad Moonie is okay. Maggie did the same and didn't eat any of her food while I was gone, and I was worried she would go low, too. I can't figure them out! Ouch with the shots and trigger finger. I hope you feel better soon and the ice helps.

Moonie ate some LC dinner & is now resting, much more herself--DH cooked dinner(almost ) as I cant use my hands much more--So hoping she'll eat - I will post her # later but have to rest right now & ice--

ouchie on the shots and the trigger finger, Roni. My mom had that but they didn't give her shots, they just operated. Don't worry about visiting condo's....we know you love us and you'd visit if you could!

I so did not expect this!!--Hope this is her nadir, as I took her back 15 min because we have a dinner tomorrow night & I need to leave earlier--Got to shoot 15 earlier tomorrow am, and 15 earlier than that for Sat. eve...Then I can go back to usual time--YIPES~!! These numbers are freaking me out! :lol: :lol: :lol:
You hope for greens & then get them & they always throw you for a loop!
I'm thinking she wants a reduction! :mrgreen:

Coming up now...Just fed her some HC & karo..want her to come up soon so I can go to sleep..My hands need some rest! My rest of me too :lol: :lol: :lol: --Tomorrow wintry mix(what does that mean? doesnt sound good!)--My batteries are running low--I dont sleep that much as it is--Go to bed & read, & cant stop reading :lol: --Sure I should go to bed earlier, but then there's Moonie to test!!--A bean's work is never done!!

Thanks for checking in on us!!! Looks like you got her up very nicely!!! Moonie has been doing super well lately! She likes her dose but it is tiring when they constantly drop. I keep wondering when they are going to get regulated like Curry or Rusty....where they only check them 4 times a day :lol: :lol: What a concept!!

Yes...it's tough with Gus. Mike and I feel all we do right now is take care of sick cats. We have another older civvie who is renal insufficient, then Gus, Gracie and her diabetes, and Tobey who has given us a run for it with a little coccidia; he does fantastic, then needs albon so there's a little bugger in there we aren't getting. We love them so and want to do the best for them but we have no life right now and are both tired. Oh well....it will get better.

I'm watching TV, brushing cats, and just trying to stay awake ....once I get her staying up then I'll sleep, test, sleep,etc. until she has three rising numbers and no food for a while. Hope you get some rest!

With the help of Karo, HC and a few temptations, Moonie is in safe numbers & I am off to bed!!
