You may have already answered this questions to other's so I apologize if I am being repetative. Are you able to get pm spot checks?
This number could be a bounce from a lower number last night and without the data it is hard to say.

i will get some spot checks tonight when i get home. for right now i gave 0.5u - returning to original dose and then do a full curve tomorrow. don't have to go in to work tomorrow. thanks.

Without that PM spot check, it's all guess work, but it could be any number of things, from a "bounce" to Miss Maddie getting into some food she shouldn't have. She did seem to be doing better on the 0.75u, however, with nice preshots.

Tomorrow's curve will hopefully answer questions. And I hope today's number is just a blip. (Remember to do a ketone check!)
 
nothing really around she can get into. so the 0.5u was ok? will check her again as soon as i get home. hopefully today won't be like the last few and i can get home at a decent time. if i can get ever get ready and get in there. called vet with the numbers, too, and will fax the ss when i get to work. have a good day all. (and yes, i did like those ps numbers yesterday - thought OK - we're heading in the right direction so this was a bit of a surprise. but then she's notorious for poppin' numbers that befuddle - at least she sure did on her first trip round this barn!)
