Both of you have such incredible SS!
I need to locate exactly what is MC and HC food. I have some higher carb food here, but not sure which. Plus I have some cans of old wet food that I don't know what it is except that its 'grain-free,' and we know that usually means-- higher carb, but exactly what, I don't know.

Here is a carb calculator for wet food....

http://scheyderweb.com/cats/catfood.html

And here is a sortable food list that already has it figures it out. Keep in mind different batches may be slightly different so it's a ballpark.

https://catinfo.org/chart/index.php

So generally <10% is considered LC (low carb) 10-15% MC (medium carb) and 16 and above HC (high carb)

Now having said that ECID (every cat is different) my LM is super carb sensitive and his LC is nothing over 3% 9% is considered hi MC and I've never needed anything more thus far to bring him up. I know that a tsp of 9% brings him up about 20 pts in aboutb30 mins.

You will learn what leo needs as you move forward

Saved your note into a OneNote! Thank you so much!

i use the chart that Rainbow posted, or the one i sent u...and i just try and stick to the foods on that. you can also type a search in posts to see if u can find your food. sometimes we post info on foods that are not on the charts

I bet I saved your notes in my one main Feline Diabetes OneNote, but need to extract it and put it in its own specific cat food OneNote--so it's easier to find. The subject of FD is quite broad! Silly me thinking just one OneNote was all I needed.:woot:
