Ya, I wasn’t expecting that 40 at all, though I should have, he was slowly creeping off that bounce from the days before… With a blue PS I usually get a +2 maybe a +3 - he usually has a later onset/nadir so +3 is usually our sweet spot though he has a new dance these days and I’m having to adjust to the new steps ;) BUT I was freezing yesterday morning and went under the blankets on the couch and fell asleep when I should have been working.. Woke up to a paw in the face yelling ‘ma, ma, food!’

oh my gosh, the paw in the face is fun...Ares has nails, and he tries to not scratch me, but he always does....i just deal w it, so used to cat scratches!!

Ya, I’m pretty tired today (not enough coffee in the world) and he’s tired of being tested I think. He had a good run though - YAY. He’s starting to come up now but still hanging in the blues. It’s the weekend .. his favourite time to bounce.. lol, might get to catch up on some sleep - ‘might’ being the operative word.. :p

Haha. Ya. Actually funny, beside ‘oh ****’ I gotta test him, my second thoughts were, you’re too cute but we need to clip your claws dude! He doesn’t put them out either but you know it’s time for a clip when..

i need to put Gus on a diet.. weighed him tonight and he’s gaining his weigh back - so I’m going to try not to be as liberal as I have been with food throughout the day like when he was losing weight… he’s up to 15.8lbs tonight (went down to 14 at his lowest, which I was happy with)

I’m using a human scale and picking him up and subtracting my weight so it’s not the most accurate (which is also a reminder that maybe I need to also go on a diet too o_O:p)

I think the low night where I feed every hour is catching up to him, lol
 
Cause I like to torture myself! Haha. I’m just a nighthawk usually - though I am pretty sleepy.. it does catch up to me eventually, especially when I’m up until 4am on a weekday
