Good morning LL! I'm coming to you from the great white wasteland called mid-Missouri!

It's a darn good thing I made it out to the store yesterday to stock up on cat food...they keep changing the prediction on how much snow we're going to get and the last time I heard it was 8-11 inches :shock: :o Bought more strips too...just in case.

China's doing great this morning...started off a little higher than I like, but sliding down nicely. I'm a little upset with myself today though. I feed the Nature's Variety Raw medallions which come frozen, so I take out as many as will fit in a little tupperware dish and keep them in the refrigerator so they thaw, but don't get warm. This morning, I took it out, fed China and left it out. It was out for 3 hours and I just don't know if it's still safe to feed, so I guess I'm going to throw it out. Expensive mistake :oops:

Hope everyone in the path of this storm is either safely in, or getting prepared for it. It's a doozy!

oh bummer on the medallions. I hate it when I do something like that. well, better safe than sorry I guess, and out they go.

sheshhh on all that snow! Please send your extra. Our mountains are in need, last I heard we were way below normal snowpack, and could really sue a few good snowfalls. Stay safe there, stay warm.

How frustrating on the raw food, but it's better than China getting sick. I hope she slides down to the lagoon. Hopefully your storm won't be as bad as they're predicting.

Oh dear on the raw fuds, that is an expensive mistake :sad: ...better safe than sorry though. And better that than the insulin left out :lol:

I'm glad China is sliding today (sliding, not diving!). Hopefully your forecast is wrong on all that S.N.O.W! :? I'm glad you're all stocked up though, much better than going out in it if you don't have to. Stay warm and safe, and have a good day, Chris! :-D

so glad you caught the food thing don't need her ill, better safe then sorry, hope you stay warm and dry, even the Oregon coast is below normal this year and our ski resorts out here, were going to have a cold snap but glad not all the snow we have had our 8 in here that is fine with me lol. nice numbers this morning so surf pretty now..

Well darn! I've done the same thing with people food, but I'm more willing to take a chance on us than on the kitties. :lol: I'd probably toss it, too.

China, you are looking so pretty in blue today. Do I see just a hint of green in you? Not too far to go....

While you're handing out snow to the others on the west coast, I'll take some, too, please. My in-laws have a ski trip planned for the Sierra next week, and it's debatable if there will be anything to ski on!!! We've had a smidgen of rain and a little more is predicted, but essentially it's dry, dry, dry here! :sad:

Stay warm and dry today, Chris - I recommend curling up with a purring cat! :-D

Thanks for the visits today!

We're up to about 6" and there's still more coming...if I haven't said it lately, I'm saying it again..I hate winter!! It must be weighing down the power lines too since my lights keep flickering, so I may lose it at some point and not be able to get online.

It looks like we're going to end this cycle higher than we started, but China often double dips, so it's possible her PMPS will be lower. This is what's the most frustrating thing for me when we do reductions. For awhile, she looks great, and then her numbers start creeping back up. It's like she has a huge depot that continues to keep her numbers down for quite a few cycles, and then eventually, up they go again.

Patience pants on..the ball's in her court now.

Sure enough!! China, Queen of the Double Dippers showed up for PMPS!

At least she's usually pretty predictable :lol:

Nice recovery tonight China! :-D Bean was getting a twitchy finger I think.

I've been thinking of giving the Primal Raw food a go as I saw it in stock in one of the store I frequent and the civie is getting tired of the current chicken/turkey choices. So I went and picked up some Primal Quail today, but their price sign says it's now discontinued. ohmygod_smile I got the last package. It's one of the few alternate raw poultry with low but not zero carbs, low phos and not chicken/turkey. Not a picky crowd are we. :lol: Sorry about the fuds left out. I only thaw out a day's worth at a time but I'd still hate to have to throw it out.

Good thing you found someone to help dig you out tomorrow. Enjoy the evening - don't dive too low and late China please.
 
I'm kind of surprised at her +4...after diving from 139 to 65 in 2 hours, I figured I'd be testing every half hour by now! NOT that I'm complaining China!! (anti-jinx)
