I'm at work, so quick, quick, quick!!!

Not much going on here in TrixieVille today...happy appy, bright eyes, snuggly kitty. Meds went smoothly. Of course we have her crazy OTJ bounce, but the bean is finally sorta starting to get used to that....as long as Ms P steps in, we're OK. And step in she did...it's back to the lagoon for Trix :D!

It is cccccoooooollllllddddd, so all the kitties are spending the bulk of their time huddled around heating vents. I think I may start joining them! It was a dreary cold rainy day yesterday, and then last night the temps plummeted, so know everything is a sheet of ice. So ready for winter to be over!

Sorry I missed condos yesterday...even though I was off, I was just beat...I think it was the weather. I crashed hard after dinner...slept like a rock on the couch until it was time to actually go to bed. Hopefully I can catch up today.

Have a great day, L&LL!

Amy

Great start to Trixie's day today. :D

Sorry you had to go to tbp. Does the ice and cold affect your flow of customers? I would think venturing out in that would be only for absolute necessities.

Let's just say the ice and snow act as a "filter"....we do get customers, but they are generally on the crazy side :eek::banghead::nailbiting:.....pretty literally. All the "normal" customers stay home.

The roads today are actually pretty good...it's mainly peoples' driveways that are a mess. And my driver's door was frozen solid. Fortunately my passengery door wasn't frozen, so I could get in that way.

Wow, that is cold. We were stuck in Lake Tahoe after a blizzard once (rough place to be stuck, eh? My boss thought so! :joyful:) and Mark went around the motel parking lot in the morning, helping people unfreeze the locks on their car doors. He grew up in the mountains of northern New Mexico.

Oh, those Wisconsin mornings when I held my car key over a flaming lighter so I could get the darn lock unfrozen. But frozen doors. Hair dryer! Hmmmm, maybe moving to the high desert was a good idea!

No need for a hair dryer for Miss Trixie today. She thawed that sticky pancreas all on her own. Yea green!

Yo Trixie, nice surfin'! If you want to go ice skating, we'll be doing lots of skating and skiing at the Full Snow Moon party tonight. See ya later.
