Had to get up at 5:30 am even today on Saturday to T/F/S... It sounds absolutely awful but actually I'm starting to get used to it.

I've always been a night bird and always wished I could just get to work an hour earlier as I felt it would have made me more productive. But I just never did. Well the project I am working on at work requires me to be at work an hour earlier than I used to be there but for some odd reason, I decided to take this opportunity to be the early riser I never was and have started to get to work 2 hours earlier than I normally used to. I even try to go to bed early so that I get at least 7 hours of sleep. Who is this new person!!!?? This was my first week going to work so early and I have to say...I really liked it! I loved being there early before most people were. Before, when I'd wake up, I would check my phone and see missed emails from the E. Coast and earlier folks in the office that I'd have to get back to when I got in, but this week my phone had no missed emails at 5:30am! My drive was about 20 minutes shorter going in (unfortunately still an hour on the way home- LA traffic sucks). And the best part is that I get off much earlier. I think I could get used to this. :)

And here it is: Caturday! And even with going back to bed and snoozing a little longer after T/F/S'ing, I was still up at 8am. On a weekend! Who am I??? I think I'm going to try to do some housework and be productive today since I have the entire day ahead of me. :)

Now, if only Ozzy can get his BG to be productive today too, things would be perfect! :)

Happy Caturday everyone.:bighug::bighug:

Thanks Beth! How's our Elmo doing??

+4.5=162

Ya, blue!!! So happy to not see a yellow or pink number.

My kitties haven't been eating all their food in the feeder. Especially the first snack which I put out at +2 in case Ozzy has a fast hard onset when the Lantus kicks in. I've been tossing out more kitty food that I want to at $2-4/can. I think I am going to start feeding a larger PS meal, maybe this will be better. They get 1.5oz now, maybe I'll double it and skip the +2 meal and just put out a +4. This whole food dance is actually harder than the insulin. I just don't know what to feed, how often to feed, what to freeze, blah blah..can't wait until I get this figured out and down pat.

But still happy to see blue! Ya for my sweet kitty!

Elmo is doing better. Constipation really throws him for a loop. Looking to see AMBGs go consistently green. Have had lots of good support , as usual, from the wisdom of LL Pros.and Elmo Godmommas Linda and Kris....... it has been a week since I sent curve to the vet and have heard nah dah, zero, bupkiss, NOTHING back ...grrrrrrr:mad:..... Called last Saturday when AMBG was high and all the vet tech said was "don't give any insulin". That was the only thing I've heard. Once again so , so thankful for FDMB cos got insight and help here. What would we do without the wisdom and willingness to help that we have found here???????:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:. Has spoiled me for sure. :):):)
