I hope everyone had a great weekend, and a good Sunday yesterday. It was an OK one here, really didn't do too much, but did get in a few walks to the shore. I never did find my license on a return trip to the beach this morning, but it's OK. It really was very easy to replace it online, and had a replacement one within minutes. WHAT A RELIEF! As an added benefit I was able to see a fantastic sunrise. The game was a joy to watch. WOW, Super Bowl Champs! Downright awesome. I talked to my DD too, and Nicholas is feeling better, had a better day yesterday. That is good too. He's still fairly tired, and still has a nasty cough, but the fever is gone, and he is back to playing like he always does. There still si somewhat of a fatigue factor, but all in all, he's doing much better. YAY! Here's what I wrote about the day in last night's post: "Hi everyone! I hope your football Sunday is a good one. We have spent the morning out and about, on treks and hikes, and are now settling down for what I hope is a great game of football. I took off this morning to catch the sunrise at Picnic Point(mobile upload). That was so nice! Frozen at 32, but the rising sun illuminated just about everything, and made up for the cold. It was an awesome time. Picnic Point offers such amazing sunsets and sunrises... you just can't go wrong there. Given the right sky they are spectacular. It was difficult to just sit here ad wait for kick off, so I decided to go out for a short hike to the shore, focusing on Lund's Gulch Creek. That too was great, and I was ever so glad thing warmed up some! 38 by then. heat wave!  ENJOY THE GAME!!!!" and that I did: enjoyed the game. :-D

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   What to say about the kitties.... They have been good kitties, and even Lola! Well sorta on Lola... Lola will always be Lola. Yesterday she slept in one of Mannie's beds. :-D That was a first for her, she never sleeps in those beds. Wow, and that was nice to see. Bug didn't seem to mind, considering that he has been the one that has taken over Mannie's beds. He just looked at Lola sleeping there and went to one of the other ones. And way to go Bug. Such a mellow dude he is. Elsa was my lap kitty last night, guess she needed snuggles, so we were more than happy to oblige. Out weather is turning cold again, sure loos like the kitties know it - there was alot of bed sleeping yesterday. And.... very little mischief! Anti-jinx, but Lola has been leaving my plants alone. Well, almost on the leaving my plants alone. I went to do some trimming on them all, and dead leaf removal type stuff. Lola seemed to think that was an open invitation to bat at the leaves of the plant I was working with. I was grateful that she wasn't into the dirt. ;-) WOW on it all.... can I till say Normalcy in MusketeerVillE?

Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. One of those days when I shall see what comes to be. If the weather clears some I may go hiking. :-D

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN cat_pet_icon

Congrats on the football game! It was very apparent that your Seahawks deserved the win.

Glad Nicholas is feeling better. Poor kid. It's hard to hold him down though.

Great news on the kitties. How sweet with Mannie's bed. Bug is so laid back. A perfect complement to his sister. Have a great day Michelle!

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the Hawks - they came to play, and play well they did. A rather decisive win for them. WOOT! It was fun to watch. Me too On Nicholas. This was his first really not feel well cold. It was interesting to see him put himself to bed when he needed to sleep. But you are right - it is hard to hold him run, he was back at it yesterday. so so Nicholas! THX on the kitties - what a well rounded and yet diverse group we have here. I love it that they all get along.

Good Morning, Michelle,
I'll bet Seattle was rockin' last night!! Great win for the Seahawks--from right out of the box, as it were! It's nice that you were able to get out for some walks during the endless "pre-game". We put the TV on just in time to catch Renee Fleming sing the National Anthem. And we watched the first half, but then tuned to "Downton Abbey" and later just caught the end of the game.
Too bad that you didn't find your drivers' license, but it's good that you were able to get a replacement quickly. The lost one may turn up, but it is probably best if no one other than you finds it.

Lola has discovered one of Mannie's beds! And Bug is OK with that. How wonderful.

Have a fine day. It's good that Nicholas will have a few days to get better before your next adventure with the boys.

Elsa: that Superbowl special coffee was great. And today's coffee is even better. Thank you, Kitteh Barista!

Ella & Rusty

Well congratulations to your team! I have no interest in football so I was rooting for no one  Bummer on Nicholas getting a cold, but sounds like he is already feeling a lot better .. Sure seems like once the cold weather season hits, the kitties are down for the count .. they're no fools  have a great day!

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) Quite the game yesterday. It sure was fun to watch, our boys certainly did come to play, So true on the from right out of the box. The look on Manning's face said it all. well, they played extremely well, a win well deserved. oh yes on the walk during the endless pre-game. It was a nice diversion, and a good use of the time. :-D I'm glad you were able to watch most if the game. I thought so too on the license, I've gone back to look a few times, bu with the tides and all I suspect that it was "swept out to sea" or buried in the sand... I so agree - I almost hope now that no one finds it! and that gone is gone. so agree on Mannie's beds, and that Bug didn't care that Lola was in it. so so nice!
Auntie Ella! WOOT! We won the super bowl! Cool huh! I still like the Ethiopian coffees the best. Mega GOOD! You need a refill today? see you soon ~~ Elsa, KBP

Morning Devon ~O) ~O) ~O) THX, on hehalf of the team. What a great win for them. LOL on the no interest in football. I have several friends who feel the same. All good though. Yes on Nicholas - better each day. I think too that the kitties have the right idea: cold weather, time to bunker down, and stay out. :-D SMART kitties!

Hi Michelle,
The best news is that Nicholas is feeling better :-D
I agree with you that I hope the tide took your license to a burial at sea  Safest thing is for no one to find it!
That Bug does sound like such a mellow dude, good offset for Lola :-D
Congratulations on the Seahawks win!!

Congrats to the Seahawks. They deserved to win last night. I don't normally watch football. I like baseball. But I watched some of the game last night. They just outplayed Denver.

Great pictures as usual. You never know, one day you might find your license while you're on a walk.

I'm glad Nicholas is feeling better. How sweet of Bug to let Lola have Mannie's bed and go sleep in a different one.

Too sweet on Bug sharing the beds that were Mannies. What a nice kitty to just go "oh well, I'll go over here" . And I'm glad you got some Elsa snuggles. And Lola, behaving? Ok, we will see  I'm glad you had a nice day yesterday, and enjoyed your game, Michelle. Have a good evening!

HI everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. We did well here, under sunny skies, and cold days. well, cold for us. Now way can we compare to the frigid snowy east coast. It is 36 here tonight, under gorgeous sunny skies, with predicted lows of 27 tonight. Back to major cold, well major cold for us. I should go down to picnic point tonight, watch the sun set, but think I will just watch from my window. It is getting cold out there, and I have had my fill of COLD today. As I sat here this AM i decided a mini road trip was in order. I haven't been out of the local area for a while, so went to Bellingham, They had more sun that they knew what to do with. I had hoped to head over on HWY 2, visit the Skykomish River and af ew towns there, but the sun as up north. And so was the cold. LOL, reported temp was 29 when I got there, and the winds managed to pick up too, Reported at 20 mph. sheshhhh.... what is that temp with wind chill? 11 maybe? no wonder I FROZE while there. Oh well, the Falls were beautiful, as as the creek hike that I decided to do. I think I stayed maybe 2 hours, had a great time, even if I felt like a Popsicle. On the way home I stopped in at Lake Padden, it is maybe 5 miles from the Falls. WOW, that was really pretty. Still awfully cold, winds were still blowing, but what the heck. I did the lake hike, maybe 2 miles RT at best. All in all both hikes were just enough to satisfy the outdoor whim, get some sun, and enjoy some really nice water. I also found some new spots on Whatcom Creek that I think the little guy would like - an added plus. So something for when it is warmer there, way too cold now for the boys. Glad I went. Now I can thaw out some.... I will post the Picassa link in tomorrow's condo.

Hi Jane :-D I so agree on Nicholas. I was a little worried about him, but kids are so resilient and they bounce back so fast. I hear that by last night he was much better. He was still a little tired, but felt 100% better. YAY! I love the thought that the tide took my license for a sea burial. Somehow that is fitting.  well, we hope it is never found, unless I happen to be the one finding it. All that I could notify have been so, I hope all will be well. I agree on Bug - he really is, and in that regard very much like Mannie. I always called Mannie Mr Cool Cat, nothing ever ruffled his feathers. Bug is alot like that. THX on the Seahawks, we have one very happy and excited city here.

Hi Carla :-D THX on the game, and right you are. They deserved that win, they played so hard, and totally dominated, and outplayed, Denver. Loved it! THX on the pics. And I so hope on my license, I go there often enough that maybe on one of my walks I may just find it. THX too on Nicholas: so am I! I thought so too on Bug, he has such a gentle side to him.

Hi Rachel :-D Bug is such a sweetie. A gentle soul, a mellow one. That is exactly what it looked like: "oh well, I'll go over here" :-D , and way cool. Elsa was back again for more snuggles just before I sat down to update this condo. Love it when she does that. Yupp, you could be right on Lola, never ever trust that one. She is just too full of curiosity and life to not be mischievous.  THX on tonight, and yesterday. Great day, and the evening is shaping up well: lots of relaxation on the horizon.

It definitely was quite a game last night! I generally prefer a more "balanced" contest, for the sake of entertainment, but there was just no stopping Seattle last night and it was impressive!

I'm glad Nicholas is feeling better. I missed that he had been under the weather...poor guy!

Bug is just such a sweetheart....of course, though, all three of them are sweethearts!! Have a great night, Michelle!

Hi Amy :-D Me too on the game - I also prefer them more balanced, but you are right - there was just no stopping Seattle. They just simply outplayed Denver on all levels. me too on Nicholas. He had a really nasty cough, bit of a temp, minor cold I guess. It stated on FR night, was at it's worst on Saturday, by Sunday he was feeling better. :-D THX on Bug.... I think he is too. Very much like Mannie.
