2/3 Jackson PMPS 64

I've been searching for the elusive 49 for the last few cycles, having caught several 50s but nothing below and had finally decided that we'd just take it easy and get there when we get there. Apparently Jack was teaching me a lesson and sensed that I had learned it -- caught a 48 at +3 this morning, exactly two months from the day that he started Lantus! It seems like eons ago in a way -- all the things I've learned to do and the scheduling and shooting low and the fine dosing and the steering. And the change in him is remarkable -- so much more energy and he's not constantly ravenous and not begging to drink water from the bathtub faucet. And he's somehow become a lap kitty in the process--I think maybe from all the sitting in my lap for testing.

So now, down to 1 drop and we'll go from there.

Hugs to everyone as they take care of their kitties, especially the overwhelmed newbies!

I absolutely LOVE when I see that posted! The same thing happened with Bob and continues after 18 months OTJ. That the best part of this dance - the bonding - very happy for you and Jackson!

Shot below 70 for the first time tonight, but it was psychologically a little easier when I'm only shooting one drop! Will get a +2 or +3 and see what the night has in store. Paws crossed that the Ravens take the Super Bowl! :)
