yesterday's condo: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=35810

Tested Spot at pm +4 and got a 48, gave a small snack and tested again at +5 and got a 66. He must have gotten all his snacks last night because he did not wake me up for his escort. I did wake up around 4:30 am (+10.5) due to a bad dream and hives and Spot was sleeping on my tummy.
Spot had a little zippy pants episode this morning before his breakfast and had a deposit in the LB. Not much else to report.

Won't have time to visit any condo's until much later tonight. Four call offs today, which ends up to me working a crew this morning and another crew this evening. Then boss is back to his old tricks....I don't know why he can't make copies and hand out things since he is the one who will be in the office today. I am not his secretary.

Aw, a little bounce for Spot..but not a big one. Very good about not needing an escort to the feeder, though! :) And if you must have a bad dream, what better way is there to wake than with a cat on your tummy waiting to tell you it's OK.

Thanks for pointing out Spot's story to me last time I visited. How sweet..got me choked up a little! Spot is lucky to be so loved.

Wonder if Spot knew you were having a bad dream so he got on your stomach in hopes to wake you up.

He is such a good boy. And Deb, stop having these upsetting dreams, k???

My nephew is Type I Diabetic. He has a kitty named Stinky who never, EVER speaks. She never makes one single noise at all. Quite a few times, during the night Stinky woke Ben up by screaming and carrying on! Very unusual to hear any noise coming from her. He would wake up, annoyed at the commotion. She was all over him on the bed, screaming as loud as she could. When he was fully awake, he would realize that his BG was dangerously low. He would then get up and give himself some insulin. Stinky must be checking on his breath during the night...it's like her job She has awakened him like that quite a few times....He finally got one of those automatic insulin lines....with the tube so he doesn't have that worry any more. Kitties are so smart, aren't they?

That's quite a story, Pat! Deb, he could have been waking you up from a bad dream (or trying to!). Smart kitty, that Spot!

HOpe your day goes better than you anticipate!
