Yesterday's Condo

Argh! I posted on my condo last night when I got home, but either I didn't hit "post reply" (always a possibility), or the Board was being wonky (also possible). Either way, it was still sitting there, unposted when I went back and looked today. It was, of course, witty and brilliant, but I didn't want to bump an old condo, so I deleted it. Sorry you missed it. ;)

Cinco is surfing blue, which is just fine. Appy is great and head and neck rubs have been handed out upon demand (and I do mean demand!).

Harvey is 100% Harvey - running around under foot, trying to eat everyone's food but his own (even though they are all getting the same thing), knocking my hand off the keyboard when I type, annoying Sasha, etc. Hard to believe there is anything wrong with him (other than a personality disorder o_O:joyful:). I wish they'd call with results. :nailbiting:

Sasha ate breakfast and had a snack later. She also got a tail and butt washing, much to her disgust (and mine). Her poos have been loose and she loses her balance in the box and often gets icky stuff on her tail, back legs and/or butt. I come along and go "sniff, sniff. Ewww!" and it's off to the sink and the baby shampoo we go! She spends most of her time on, and in, our bed, so I want her to be clean!

Minka did not want either of the FF entrees I offered. After her Ond/Pepcid gelcap, she ate a few bites, enough that I went ahead and gave her the Pred, Felimazole and AB, but she wouldn't eat any more, so I gave her some Mirtz, and an hour later she greeted me with a MEOW! and ate 3/4 of one of those servings. I went downstairs and found a small puddle of watery vomit that clearly contained two pills! Here's the conundrum: The two pills were Ondansetron and Pepcid, which I gave her first, at least three hours earlier. The puddle wasn't there when I went down to get the Mirtz (it was in the middle of the doorway to the kitchen - there was no way to not see it), which I took straight up and gave to her. In between the Ond/Pepcid and the Mirtz, she had the other pills. If she threw up after the Mirtz, why weren't the other pills in there, and why did the Mirtz work????

I'm so confused!

So life goes on in the funny farm...

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :bighug: Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF & DH, Lisa's DH and Elise's DM.

Nice blues for Cinco today. That's great Harvey is feeling so good. I hope you get the results back soon. Have you called them? Poor Sasha and Minka. That's crazy with the vomit and the pills.

You deleted "witty and brilliant" and we get this instead?....LOL (sorry, sometimes the smarta** in me just can't be controlled....especially after being up all night)

Cinco sure is being a good kitty..wonder what he's got up his sleeve???

I can't help you on the pill issue...except for agree that it makes no sense that the first pills came up and the 2nd ones stayed down. That's just weird!

I think I'd be calling to see about Harvey's results...after 10 days, they're probably lost in the shuffle on someone's desk (hopefully this means someone saw them and said to themselves, "Oh...no cancer!! I'll call later to give the good news"....and then forgot to do it)

Thanks for stopping in, Carla and Chris. I've thought about calling for the results. I decided that, since I'm taking him in tomorrow for suture removal, I'll ask then.

So far, Minka has had several small snacks and has kept it all down. I guess she is just adding to the mystery of the cat!

Another interesting day in your household:cat::cat::cat::cat: !!

We're thinking good thoughts for Harvey's vetty visit tomorrow. Nice blue surf for Cinco. Weird about the pill mystery.

Have a good evening, Tricia,

Ella & Rusty

Nice day for Cinco! I'm glad Harvey is back to being Harvey, that Sasha ate well (bummer on the bum bath, though...those are never fun!), and sending along appy vines for the mysterious Minka. Last spring, shortly after I started giving Trix her gelcaps, I found one of her pills that should have been IN the gelcap...just one, no evidence of any other pills or the gelcap itself. Never solved that mystery, either...

Have a great evening, Tricia!

Nice blues for Cinco- glad he is still enjoying his backrubs! Sending healing vines for Sasha and Minka and positive vet vines for Harvey tomorrow!

Beautiful blue surf!!

Born free, Harvey man!!! woo hoo!!!!

Thanks for the offer, Tricia. The ziwipeak guy is sending me about five cans of each of the canned food varieties except venison/fish. You are super sweet to offer....I do appreciate esp with everything on your plate. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Wish we could ditch this yellow PS numbers - especially the high yellows.

Thanks for stopping in, Ella, Amy, Ruth and Marje.

We almost had a mutiny at dinner. I served Friskies SD T&G, which everyone, even Minka, ate happily a few days ago, and ONLY Cinco cleaned his plate (or course! He's the Mikey of cat food). The others took a couple of bites and said, "meh" and walked away! I ended up giving them all some boiled chicken in broth. Minka, as usual, just drank the broth, but Harvey and Sasha hoovered up every scrap. @Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA), seems like every day here is "interesting". Wouldn't mind a boring one now and again!

Ah, just another day in the WorldofCinco and his family. HoHum!:)

I don't know how you do it. Sorta like the pill. How does that happen. Amazing bean.

Vetty vines for the mischievous child tomorrow. Harvey, that is. And appy vines like crazy for the girls.

Marilyn and Polly

Isn't that a Chinese curse? "May you live in interesting times". Never a dull moment with your clowder. The spell checker is underlining "clowder". Really? On this message board? :joyful: :joyful:

Vines for good news tomorrow and feel better vines for the rest. I seriously don't know how you are dealing so well with so many issues at once. I would be pulling my hair out! Thank you Cinco for being so good although I do understand your dislike for yellow, Tricia.

Thanks, Elise. I'm not so sure I'm dealing all that well with it all. I just had a chocolate binge, which I do NOT need, as I've gained 20 pounds in the past few months. I had to poke Minka 4 times for her fluids - kept going through or not far enough and leaked fluid all over. Bless her heart, she just laid there and purred. DH went to bed and I had a mini meltdown. Then I tested Cinco and got 53! Where did that come from???? I double checked and got 54. It's gonna be a long night. :banghead:

Looks like Cinco likes to go high before he goes low. :D Hey Cinco, time to come up a little please. Momma's got a busy day tomorrow.

Paws crossed for the best of results tomorrow for Harvey. It took over a week to get Neko's biopsy results, but I ended up waiting until I was at the vetty's office instead of phoning too.

Really Cinco another pj party! Sending good vetty vines for Harvey for tomorrow and wow on your little Minka she sounds like such a sweetheart this is for her

Tricia chocolate is definitely better than a straight jacket and sometimes it's the only other answer ;) I think it's wintery where you are anyhow so a few extra pounds is good to keep you warm :bighug:

Thanks, Serryn. Minka is a sweetheart. We adore her. And Cinco is apparently a party animal! :D

Actually, the weather here in Northern California is quite nice - mid 60s. I would like to have a little more wintery weather! The extra pounds do keep me warm. :p:(

Cinco appears to be taking over where Max used to be. Hey, Cinco, please invite Max to join you in the lagoon. He needs help getting back on track.

More vines for good news today and good appetites for all.
