Good morning World! Yesterday
AMPS 236
Looks like KT's bounce started clearing sometime after pm+7 - I couldn't hardly make myself wake up to test at 4am but we made it.....wasn't breaking yet at pm+7 - 269. I sure hope the downward spiral of numbers continue a bit at least down into 100's.
I turned the gopher/mole repellant as well as the fertilizer into the garden yesterday and planted 100 little onions. They haven't grown any this morning...
I'm planting cucumber seeds today...it's going to be a beautiful day here.
Today we dedicate our condo to our 'LadyBug' - one of our GA droolers - April, 1990 - Feb 29, 2004. A few months after DH and I met, we went to a friend's bar to play pool. It was storming terribly, lots of thunder and lightening, raining like crazy. As we drive up, here huddled beside the building was about a 6 month old female Sheltie SO scared and shaking. We petted her for a bit, went in and played a couple of games, came back out...she was still there. We petted again, she tried to climb in our laps, all fuzzy wet fur....we finally drove off leaving her there thinking she must belong to someone. Took us about 2 miles to decide she probably didn't - when we got to what would later be 'DH''s apt, we called back and asked the bartender to keep her overnight, we'd be back in the morning to get her. So...we ended up with the sweetest, most beautiful merl Sheltie in the world. We have a feeling she got loose from the local 'puppy mill' which was busted and shut down shortly after that. She had a bad heart murmur - vet said she'd probably not live but a year or two - she was 14 when she crossed. She traveled many thousands of miles all over the US with us in our motorhomes loving every minute of it. When we brought baby kitten KT home, she was in heaven for her last months - she loved him so much. I'll try to find a picture and scan it. LadyBug, we love you! We'll see you when our jobs here on earth are complete!
ETA: Don't miss her gift below...
Hugs to all and extra thoughts and prayers for those struggling today.
