Dark pee - maybe dehydrated or blood in the urine?

Yeah, I'm hoping she was just dehydrated, as she hasn't been eating much wet food in the last few days. It was right before i tested her BG this morning which was in normal range.

I will try to get a urine test tonight to check for any abnormalities.

Do you know the tenting, "pinch up a bit" of skin test to quickly check for dehydration? Skin should go right back to normal and not stay up in that tent. If it stays up, may be a bit of dehydration going on.

Gum check also can check for dehydration. I think it is press on gums with a finger, gums should pink right back up when not dehydrated. Dry, tacky gums are another sign of dehydration in a cat.
Feeling a bit tacky, then may need a bit of water.

I remember the vet showed us those tests before, I'll check when I get home from work. If she in fact dehydrated should I give her water directly in her mouth if she doesn't want to drink from the bowl?

Yes, directly syringing little bits of water into the cheek pouches can help if she is dehydrated. Not too much at once, slow and steady. You don't want her to aspirate the water into her lungs.
Also, adding water to her canned food can help.
