Patience is a virtue, for sure!

Thank you.

I saw your post from yesterday Bonnie. You sounded a bit discouraged and disappointed. Glad to see you have a new post for today.

Sometimes, I feel like strangling William Langland, the person that originated the expression in his poem, Piers Plowman. https://quotes.yourdictionary.com/articles/who-said-patience-is-a-virtue.html
maxima enim, patientia virtus (patience is the greatest virtue).

Thank you for that, interesting read. Zeke’s pancreas is helping me exercise and grow my patience muscle, it is hard and painful sometimes, but I believe worth all that it is taking.
The extra bonus is the bonding that is happening between us is beautiful.:cat:;)!

Zeke's SS is gorgeous!

You might consider a slightly different strategy for dose reductions. After of week of normal numbers, you can reduce the dose. In Zeke's case, you might want to shave the dose with each earned reduction. I'm thinking that the drop from 0.25u to no insulin was too big of a change. Some cat's have a pancreas that needs more support and they need to be weaned off of insulin.

Ill try that. I’m afraid it’ll be a while, he’s really high for him right now, I really messed things up with those 2 NS cycles. Thanks!

@Sienne and Gabby. He was 77 this afternoon, hopefully we're starting the count again! I gave him a fat .25 this AM, so we'll see how he does.
