Morning everybody. Interestingly enough Tori's last three tests have all been the same - 248. At least that's still under the Renal Threshold. She took 1/2 a 3oz. can of Almo Tuna and Shrimp this morning. I know fish isn't the best but at this stage I'll take what I can get. SHe refused the Liver Shake though which I found kind of strange. Maybe her tiny little tummy was just too full. At least she ate. She is now lying in the drawer underneath Ayanna's bed. I guess she feels safe there.

I'm waiting for the insurance adjuster to call and say when he is going to come out today. Not really looking forward to that. I'm kind of afraid of what he'll say. Got to quit thinking that way. My kids keep telling me I'm too much of a pessimist. Once he calls I'll be able to go out and tackle the snow shoveling. We sure got a lot the last couple of days. Sure is cold too. It's -24 C here the last I saw and the windchill at one point was -43C. That is absolutely insane.

Have a good day everybody, My thoughts and prayers go out to our ailing kitties and their Beans.

Re: 2/28 Tori AMPS 248

Hi guys! I am glad that Tori is eating. I'm with you - whatever it is, fish or not, as long as she will eat. odd on the liver shake - was this the fresh or the frozen? I wonder if that had anything to do with it, if it was the frozen??

good luck with the adjuster. I hope that goes well, I'm sure it will.

I do not believe the temps there. Does one ever get used to such cold? I cannot fathom -43C, that is insane.... omg! I hope you guys can stay warm.

Re: 2/28 Tori AMPS 248

Good for Tori for eating, even if it is fish. Sorry about the cold weather and shoveling snow, too! I hope there will be an early spring for you guys that are dealing with the monster winter.

Sometimes stable is good... yellow is better than pink!! Hope all went well with the insurance adjuster today, and also hope your snow clears soon! I'm soooo done with winter!!!

Have a good night!

Hi, Barb & Tori.. dropping through to check on you.. hmm.. flat yellows, eh? ;-)
Still keeping you & your family in my thoughts & prayers too.
Hope your evening is going well!

Well at least she's still yellow. Almost pink but not quite. Really this has been the best day she's had since she got home from hospital on Friday. She's been more like herself and has been eating pretty good. She's even been going and nibbling in between meals. So I'm happy with that. It wasn't all fish either. Don't know why all of a sudden the liver shake is a no go. It is the frozen that I've been offering today. Maybe she figures she doesn't need it anymore. I hope she's right. I just want her well again.

I talked to the adjuster and she'll be coming to the house tomorrow afternoon. She said that she was getting a contractor to come out as well but he never called or showed up. Hopefully things will get moving tomorrow, To put it this way having a sink on one floor and the toilet on the other is a pain. Especially for Ayanna.

Well I'm way behind here. I have to leave for work in a 1/2 hour and I need to shower and get ready. At least it's not as cold. The temperature probably is but the windchill has gone way down. Tomorrow is March. It's time to warm up around here. They say though we're going to be in the deep freeze for another 2 weeks. I really am sick of Albertan winters. Mind you this one has been incredibly bad.

I must run. Have a good night everybody.

have a good evening barb - I hope tbp is a good one tonight.

I am happy that Tori seems more herself, eating on her own. It is good news! Small steps, and she is getting there. :-D

Good luck with the adjuster. I hope it all comes together sooner than later.
