What a great pic of Isabelle. Cannot believe they leave all your stuff alone....especially pencils. How is Suzi's mouth doing?

Re: 2/28 Sabian (PZI 1u) AMPS-301

Sabian has a really nice curve today from the looks of it.

To answer your question, Suzi's mouth is doing okay. She still has sinus congestion issues though, which is pretty normal for her.

Great curve.....now if she will only start to slowly go back up......better yet, surf and then go back up. Mishka was 260 pmps. Fed and shot. Early this a.m. I did a pre test pre test. She was 63 :o Okay, I gave her a pill pocket with her pepcid in it. Less than 25 minutes later she was up to 83. Figured she was fine but I waited almost 2 more hours to give her time to go up so I then could test, feed and shoot. Well, I tested her and got 49  Immediately retested and got 45. Have no clue why..just she's a cat cat(2)_steam and she is definitely not a newbie diabetic either. Never trust them

Sabian's +7 is 276. And I'm certain she hasn't gotten into anything, foodwise. There's nothing...anywhere. Looks like between the 6 and 7 hour, her sugar rockets back up. Weird.

Re: 2/28 Sabian (PZI 1u) AMPS-301

Patrick, she has been known to dive down and then dive back up, quickly sometimes. She isn't getting a long enough duration, yet. I would still keep her at this dose several more days.....leery of increasing another .20 because she is going down well and you don't want her to go down too far when you are asleep. She might be a good candidate for t.i.d. dosing which would be about .60 at about every 7 hrs. at about 8 a.m. 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. Look at her chart, her numbers, print it out and study it and look at what she was throwing on a .50, then a .60 and now .80. Also, have you tried using the 1/2" needle yet? I just read one article where it was recommended to use on 1/2", not the shorts. I was reading up on Somogyi effect where sometimes, they don't have to go to a real low for it to happen. Just go down fast and then wham! shoot back up.
