Good Morning, Everyone,

Holding Nancy in our hearts this morning. Pepper is flying free.

It was cold last night and even colder this morning (-6 F.). Not your typical late-February weather. Rusty snuggled between his beans and at one point woke me up with kitty kisses and headbutts. I must have been tossing and turning because of my knee (which, however, feels pretty good this morning). Rusty ate most of his nighttime food and this morning we had a good test (back in a more-or-less normal range), a shot that nicked a capillary but seems to have gotten in, breakfast (first sitting), lung treat, and now Rusty is chillaxin' in his little bed next to the radiator.

We will be in NYC next week and had planned to go down on Sunday, but will leave tomorrow instead because of the weather forecast (snow: no fun to drive in snowy conditions in the city, where most drivers don't know how to cope with snow). So today will be a day of getting ready.

Yo KItties, I'll be going to the City tomorrow and invite all to join me there next week for the usual city activities.

What a lovely start this morning for Mr. Rusty! I'm glad that everything went normally this morning, and that he's chillaxin'. I hope that you'll be able to get a nap in to recoup the loss of sleep from the night before. If I don't post on your condo beforehand, please be safe this weekend. :YMHUG: Have a great Friday!

GO RUSTY! nice start, and I hope you will find the lagoon today. Bummer on the nicked capillary, but no worse for wear huh. You be good today, surf well.

OK... that is just COLD there. I feel guilty for being in shirts and pants only yesterday at the river.... 50 there. ;-) Good idea to leave a day early, avoid the incoming weather. Seems alot of places are due for a storm come Sunday. we are too. Be safe! and I am sure you will. Good luck with all your prep.

And continued healing vines for your knee.

Wrong way, Rusty! Maybe it's pre-trip jitters. We may hold off our trip until Sunday after all. The forecasts don't sound bad until Sunday night. We'll decide later. In the meantime lots to do.

I think Rusty is excited about the trip! He's just as busy as you are getting everything together! Tess has started packing the bus already, she and the other kittehs may beat you there!

I'm glad your knee is feeling better, i hope the long drive doesn't aggravate it.

Rusty...turn it around! Maybe he does sense that you're about to travel. Not that I want this storm at all, but if it hits, I really hope they are right that it's not going to start till Sunday evening. We woke up to "feels like -7 temps" here...cold, cold, cold.

I hope Rusty keeps sliding down tonight. Have a safe trip whenever you decide to leave. I'm glad your knee is better today. Sending prayers for it to keep getting better.

Looks like a reasonably flat blue cycle for Rusty - a good way to start out the weekend.

I hope you got all ready for the trip. Kitties better pack their fleeces for touring around the big city.
 
-13 F. tonight!! Rusty's numbers continue to be a bit whacky. I think it might be trip anxiety, but who knows?

Everyone have a good weekend. We'll post tomorrow after we get to the city.
