I've been watching your posts but haven't had much to add about the intricacies of medications. I'm glad Pudge seems to be doing pretty well overall! 
Here's my latest thread. Gen is having appetite trouble and some limes, which I'm frustrated about and working with my vet on that. He seems to be feeling pretty good in general though, and today I started a slow transition to his new food for his elimination diet trial, which in spite of the inappetence, he seemed to like the first taste of. So, it's kind of a mixed bag.
I'm stressed but hanging in.
