Phooey. Thought the high blue surf last night might forecast a much better day than we're getting. Geeeee, Polly. You're headed for pink. Hmmm. Maybe influenced by the Balloons hanging over town yesterday morning to kick off the festival.

Caught some floaters yesterday morning driving down into town from my elevated subdivision:

Yup. Balloons couldn't fly today. Weather. Guess Polly decided she didn't need no stinkin' balloon to go up, up, up and away.

Everyone here is sleeping the day away, 'cept for the occasional roaming and food yowling from Polly. Right now she's in the cat room on a window tote watching all the little finch type birds that hang in the bushes, sage between our house and the neighbor's. She just watches. No chatter. No tail flick. Used to having her meals served, she's probably waiting for one of the little flutterers to fly right through the window onto a plate beside her.
