Good day LL!

Morgaine a nice 153 this AMPS so hopefully we are back on track at least for today.

She was awfully quiet this AM. I didn't hear a peep out of her which is strange but she was fine when I dragged myself out of bed. Pee'd on the floor in the bathroom today. This is not a usual spot! She was purring and head butting me while I got her breffis ready and now she is napping in the kitchen though she can come out to the LR if she wants to. All in all, I have to accept this now and hope that we can bring about a change back to good LB habits.

She's happy about food. Now if we could get her interested in her lb. Please Morgaine, that box (actually those boxes) are there for a reason.

have you given up using the box attractant? i think you said she was sitting in the box with it - we need a lesson for her in how to use LB's!

I have it in one box, the new one and not in the other box. I returned her original LB to its original spot with plain Dr. Elsey's litter. This is the box she licked and rubbed her whiskers on. She has used it the most these past few day and actually used it this afternoon while i was awake and in the LR. Morgaine is an interesting kitty, a little odd and always has been. She used to use her box and then go try to bury her food rather than her poo. Now she is making loving gestures to her old box. :lol: I am not sure what to do with this at this point. I think it is pretty impossible to really get the cat urine odor out of the rugs. We may not smell it but she surely can. I really can't move and I do not want to move. Unless some amazing opportunity came along, I am in a position where I need to stay put.

I am thinking about asking my apt. management if i can replace the hall rug and bathroom and kitchen flooring. It is a small area and it would be easy enough since no furniture has to be moved. That way I can keep her confined there until she has relieved herself. Tht hallway runner is not ideal and she can and has gotten pee under it so it really isn't the best solution. This is so frustrating but i am beginning to accept that it may not be possible to turn this around completely. We shall see what the AC has to say on Thur.
 
Morgaine, you are a funny girl, flirting with your LB. :lol: I wonder what that is about? It will be interesting to see if the AC can give you any insights. Have a nice evening, Rosalie.

Just thinking out loud here but maybe I should try the Feline Pine clumping litter. I don't know what it is like but it probably smells like her old litter, the feline pine pellets. she couldn't walk on the pellets anymore but maybe the clumping litter is already softened. I will check that out. she does seem to be flirting with her old box in more ways than one.
