Jennifer, I know you don't have green grass right now in CT! Those are teaser photos.

My cats have spring fever too. I have a south facing balcony that they can go out on in the warm weather, but now every time it is sunny they are all gathered at the sliding door wanting to go out. It's 35 degrees out there still!

Yeah, Feb went too fast, but I can't wait for spring either... sigh. I want to open my windows and get some fresh air in here.

Jennifer!!

Thank you so much for the most adorable pictures of Lilly Grace!! Love them!!

Mickey is really liking pooping behind my recliner! Last night at 2am I was awakened by the aroma of Mickey poo. Regular poo. Then this morning he did the same thing but nice and runny. I totally give up.
It is just one of those days.

Sheila, I did have my windows open today. It was a freakish 60. Wahoo!! It helped air the poopy smell out too.

Yep, teaser photos from June of last year. Lilly Grace gets her exercise outside when it's nice out.

Peggy, could Mickey have a food allergy? You've tried Flagyl a few times. Anything else? What about deworming him. Not saying he has worms, but just in case it can't hurt I'd think. With the belly ache going on his BGs may not be easily controlled.

What probiotics have you tried?

Maybe a bland diet of rice and chicken for a while to see if we can settle the belly.

I do have drontal. (sp) I could give that a whirl. I actually need to go to the pharmacy to have 2 doses compounded. One for my Tucker and a friend's cat.
I can pill Mickey with no problem.
And the chicken/rice is a good idea. I will pull some out of the freezer. He has had benebac and fortiflora. Now he is getting a b12 shot every Wednesday.
Do you think it could be the Fancy Feast? I basically cut out every other kind of food except that one. I just have to find something else he will eat. He is picky, picky.

ECID, Fancy Feast is one of the only foods Tucker can eat, as long as it's the gluten free varieties. Beef doesn't always do well with him. The chicken and salmon ones he's never had a problem with.

FortiFlora worked great for getting him to eat, but it didn't help his belly much. I also added pumpkin, but I'm wondering if for Mickey if we start from scratch, plain chicken and rice maybe his belly can rest. The B12, are you giving it or going to the vet? Just want to make sure it's B12 and not complex, I've found the B12 helps Tucker, he's also getting it once per week. It's pink in color.

Drontal, is that the dewormer? You might want to mention it to your vet just to be sure it's okay to use, I don't want to hurt sweet Mickey.

Humm, not sure if it is b12 complex or not. What is the difference? I am at work, will check that out when I get home tonight. The vet gave me 6 prefilled syringes of it. I chickened out the needle is enormous. My vet tech gave it to him last Wed. I am going to have to bite the bullet and do it myself this time.
Drontal is the dewormer.
Mickey most always eats the FF chicken and chicken/liver. He is not a fish fellow.

The complex can sting when injected, when I use that it's only when I'm giving Subq fluids and then I add it to the line, the fluids help to keep it from stinging.

The B12 alone is pink in color and does not sting. I use FD needles, perhaps I should be using a longer needle but Tucker is a skinny boy these days.

Lilly Grace wants Spring and got rid of February.

Beautiful, sweet pictures of Lilly Grace. :)

Yes, same with Tigger. He sat outside today in the sun on the porch thoroughly enjoying himself. It was only about 36 degrees out but warmer in the sun.
