Walmart yes, pool? no way! :lol: I do not kid myself! :o

I need to gather the trash so I can take it on my way out, but can't do that and not be able to wash my hands afterwards. :-x

So I'm just sitting around bored......could straighten up the apartment some.......nah. :lol: I've done all I feel like doing and anything else requires water.

Hear That Maintenance Man??? REQUIRES WATER!! :-x :lol:

I don't think he's listening.......

Good thing I have gatorade, I'd be stuck with nothing to drink, since I neglected to fill my water bottles and put them in the fridge. ohmygod_smile

WOOHOO! I hear the water spitting into the toilet tank! I may be able to get freshened up and get to the store after all. :thumbup

Will have to run the air out of the lines or it spits all over the place, takes a while, I'm on the 3rd floor! :lol:

Lucian just ate 1/4 can food. :-D Yay!! Of course, his BG in an hour will be up. :YMSIGH: Oh well.........

299? didn't expect that. :o He's only had a PMPS lower than that twice since he was DX'd.

Think I may have to stay up a bit, he just ate 45min-hr before the test. Hmmmmmmm.

Fingers crossed that he has just decided to settle finally and start giving you normal kitty numbers for a change.

Concerning the Convenia and Lucian...Lucian was much much higher than Frankie is starting out, Frankie is barely over renal threshhold so with her it could be infection keeping her up there right now so she may or may not be a true diabetic.

ahhhhhhhhh I getcha! Scared me, that's why I edited my comment. Wouldn't want to tell someone wrong.

Could something else cause Lucian's PMPS to be so much lower all of a sudden? Should I be concerned? It took me by surprise. :o

Well if he still wasn't eating that could do it but since he is back to eating normally again then I would say he is finally figuring out that it isn't so scary down in the lower levels. Plus look how gentle he dropped today, no he didn't hit blue but he also only dropped 270 pts overall, that isn't nearly as scary as it is to drop over 400 pts.

He ate between 45 min and an hour before I tested......that's why I was surprised, I expected it to be much higher due to food spike.

It was about an hour, I got home at 6:30, he ate by 6:45 and I tested at 7:45.

Just got to see what he does tomorrow but perhaps he is finally deciding to settle down and fly right.

I think I'll stay up later than usual, I'm kind of afraid to go to sleep before about +6. He normally drops 200-300 points per cycle, he can't do that tonight! :o

Well if you haven't use the time to set up the hypo kit. Who knows he may earn his first reduction tonight.

That's been ready since day 1, first time I went to the store for canned food, I got 3 cans of FF high carb gravy food.

Already had Karo and syringe, plus I have the name, address, phone number and directions to the ER vet. All in a gallon ziplock bag on top of the fridge. :thumbup

That's the only thing I'm prepared for! :lol:

Since I bought 2 vials of strips the 1st time I bought them, now as soon as I open the 2nd vial, I buy another one, so I almost always have an extra unopened vial, bought a new vial today, just opened one this morning. :-D

I'm a prep freak, you know that! :lol: I feel safer always being prepared......prepare for worst and hope for the best. My favorite motto. :-D

LOL I have 3 unopened vials of strips for the main meter and two for the back up meter, and an extra set of batteries for both meters.. Along with karo syrup, 2 cans of Friskies gravy food, syringes in various sizes, and even lines and needles for subq fluids if needed...lol Prepared who me?

Been contemplating these numbers, I think 'steering' him just a bit for the next couple hours might be a good idea, rather do that than have him crash, but I'll be up, not gonna take that chance with my baby boy. cat_pet_icon
