CONGRATULATIONS MATT KENSETH winning the Daytona 500!!!! Wasn't my driver but I can celebrate Matt winning!

AMPS 208 oh well...it's ALMOST blue...
I had a feeling KT's bounce was going to break last night so left out EVO hard food. He woke up and ate about 5:30am (pm+8) so don't know exactly how low he went but don't think it was even down to low 100's. Right now, I'll accept the 100's!
I turned the garden again yesterday, mixed in mole/gopher repellant and am going to put fertilizer in today - along with 100 onion sets! This year I'm planning to put in 4 tomato plants, 2 pickling cucumbers, several okra and parsley for DH's potassium fix. I dry and use parsley in lots of dishes - there's not much taste to it when cooked but it retains it's potassium when dried.
My GOLDEN BELLS burst into bloom this morning! This plant belonged to my GREAT GREAT grandmother! I got a runner from my mother's plant 2 years ago - last year it just grew but this year I have BLOOMS! Oh I wish I had my camera software on here...my card's full so can't take any more until I get those off there! I also have a cutting of my 'Mamaw's' favorite rose - a miniature pink - that never lost all it's leaves over the winter and is putting on buds right now. This is the only piece of that left - everyone else's has died. I'm hoping this one will stay healthy enough that I can at least get a cutting for my sister. I DO just happen to have a picture of it's blooms in my photobucket - these are about the size of a quarter:
Thoughts and prayers today for all our ailing babies and Beans with holes in their hearts. Today I add Julie and Eleanor to our extra thoughts just 'cos they're so darned sweet and Julie's trying SO hard to get this under her belt. We also include our WeezerBaby trying new insulin and Rosalie and Morgaine as she gets new meds.
