He ate all his breakfast this morning so he must be starting to feel comfortable.

On the otherhand.... he picked a fight with poor 8lb Mango. :banghead: i wish they could just ignore each other. Poor Mango.
 
Gordy is feeling "less stressed"... meaning I just caught him eating Mango's dry food. He has NEVER been a counter jumper, so I am pretty mad at him.

*really really heavy sigh*

Meanwhile, my cats think they have the run of the house, and Mango is hiding in the basement.
 
Soooooo.... new civvie's food has been moved to an even higher place (she is QUITE the jumper), so hopefully problem solved.

Considering he has been pretty much feasting on Cat Chow all day, I am impressed he isn't higher! I hate pinks, but I will take them over red any day.

Eta: i also got some of the rescue remedy that was recommended (working at Whole Foods has perks lol). So i put it in all the water dishes.
 
I hope the Rescue Remedy mellows them out. Did you get the version for pets? The people version has alcohol in it so not the best for diabetic cats. Though there caregivers might enjoy it! :p

Bummer on the dry food. I guess it's a good sign that he's able to get into trouble now. :rolleyes:

Yeah, I got the pets one (i just double checked LOL).

They are definitely starting to feel more comfortable here. :)

Gordy has a tummy ache. Hopefully he realizes its from all his kibble snacking!

Sending tons of vines to Ducia and hope all the other kitties surf safely. :bighug:
