Already to Tuesday where did Monday go???
Surf safe kitties.
Short story went out prospecting on Sunday I found an old fish hook, iron and darn if I didn't dig up fire ants.
Within seconds they were all over my clothes and stinging my right leg. How they got thru my snake chaps boots and pants that fast I'll never know. I radioed my DH to come over and help me by the time he got to me I had chaps, boots and pants off shaking the ants off. They were in my gloves all over my detector. DH helped me get them off everything and back to detecting. By the way it was a small meteorite not gold. That is ok we sell them for good $. We use to throw them away and call them a nuisance rock till we found out people pay $ for them.
I came away with only 10 stings (bites). It could have been a whole lot worse. They stung and felt really hot and now they are swollen blistered and itch.
