Eleanor is better but her tummy hurts and she's grouchy.

I have been informed that I'm mentally ill because I keep doing the same thing over and over with Lantus even though it is not working, and it has never worked. I think it is ignorant to base "it has never worked" on a SS from Eleanor's first year when she had undiagnosed ear infections, then diagnosed and treated with ointment that contained steroid, which made her BG go crazy, then infections recurred, more treatment etc, and on the SS from last year when her BG was all over the place. She actually was in simple regulation in between.

I guess it's correct that it isn't working now, and I should switch to another insulin. I don't know.

BTW, it was not anyone who posts on FDMB who dropped this on me.

I hope all the kitties who are having problems feel better today and that answers will be found. Big hugs to the beans.

Eleanor is feeling better, she is still meatloafing off and on with some stomach pain. But she was being affectionate for awhile, and she did a happy normal poo dash through the house.

Have you ever tried massaging Eleanor's tummy? We did that with Zener and now with Tillie and it seems to help with tummy cramping. Here is the link of our vet demonstrating on Zener.
