2/28 Edward AMPS-359

Oh, there's the bounce from that lovely green he hit yesterday. Just wait it out...he'll come back down. It's a natural response for his liver to dispense with all of it's stored up glycogen - in response to that low it perceives as a threat...

Have a great day Kat!

Eventually Edward will get use to lower #s. It takes time. My OTJ boy Ittle, was a big bouncer. It took him close to a month to get his bouncing under control when we first started Lantus. **Disclaimer** Ittle is not a good example of how to use either Lantus dosing guideline. I did not follow the rules . We stumbled into remission:rolleyes: But, he is a good example of bouncing:p
Edward will get there. His #s are improving faster than either one of my kitties!:cat:
I hope you have a great day Kat!

Hoping he doesn't stay bouncy too long. Sometimes they clear them faster than you expect. He really did have a nice cycle yesterday :D. I used to get so frustrated when I saw numbers I didn't like too, but honestly Edward is more than those numbers. Sometimes Mav would play and chase his tail when he was in the 300s, and to me I came to realize, as long as he was acting fine, happy and playful, that mattered more than the numbers. Numbers go up and down, but don't forget to take some time and just give Edward some cuddles and love ;).

Thank you, @Sue and Luci , @Teri (Disco NoFurNo) , @Briere Fur Mom , and @Christie & Maverick , for checking in and offering encouragement - I so so so SO appreciate it. The camaraderie here has done so much to lift my spirits when I feel sad or frustrated. I really am holding out hope that he gets used to normal #s fairly quickly. Today is day #43 on the juice, and I am mindful of the "ideal window for remission" being the first 6 months after Dx. I feel a strong time pressure.

Such a great reminder! No worries... Edward is getting SO much love and he is SO responsive to attention, even at his highest (or lowest) #s. In fact, the #s don't seem to effect his attitude or the 5 Ps at all. I guess that's a good thing??

I haven't checked out Ittle's SS... I will do that! I tend to break the rules myself... despite my best intentions to "stick with the plan!" BTW... what an adorable name, Ittle <3
