Doodles 2/27 Goal of the day is for mama bean here to keep it together:) Hopefully Doodles won't be as cranky which will help. Next steps are AB tomorrow and will ask for Baytril to see if that helps. Second route would be possibly R if no response is seen with the AB and then last ditch switching to Levemir but that is down to road a bit.

OT - The frame is starting on the building today and I need to get the house clean. With the windows being open during the day this place gets dusty and you basically have to wipe it down daily

Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday and vines to all in need.

While I wouldn't exactly say that I enjoy cleaning, it is at least a good distraction. And, Doodles, if you head down a bit, maybe your bean won't bring out the vacuum monster.

cleaning is so pointless over here--the boys have the place a mess in less than a day!
I may make an attempt to stack the 10 cabinets of cat food LOL
I bet your looking forward to tomorrow!! If your vet does decide on baytril injections it has worked very fast for us in the past..... not sure what they will suggest as it is limited with injectable.... maybe they can pre fill if they want something else that is not IM? SQ might be easier for the Doodles if he is Mr Cranky pants:stop:
The good thing about baytril is it is usually just 5 days.

What is IM?

SQ?
subcutatious VS intra muscular.... a shot just under the skin/SQ or in the muscle/IM (typically the back leg) In my experience it does not burn or any discomfort other than the insertion of the needle depending on the cat--most are pretty compliant if you do it fast-

How are you doing Karen? Bet you can't wait til tomorrow (feels weird saying that when it's already Monday here!) Doodles, do the right thing by your mumma please, she needs you to be a good boy :cat:

Good luck tomorrow! Vetty vines heading your way!
You hear that Doodles.....it's off to the vet for you again! If only you'd work the juice!

@Doodles & Karen have to tell you.....I was visiting my daughter this afternoon who is looking after a mama basset hound and her four 4 week old pups.....so of course I was photographing them and we put one in a basket and what did he do..... put his chin down on the edge of the basket and a moment later it was choking and sputtering! Well I just reached over and put a finger under his chin and lifted his head a bit and problem solved!
Thought this might sound familiar to you lol.

Sending good vetty vines. It looks like Vyktor has finally broken (anything to avoid the vet!). Hope Doodles breaks soon too, but hopefully with a little less drama...

Karen

Sending lots of vines and prayers for Doodles. I hope he starts to get better numbers soon. I know that it is far fetched but is there any possibility that his new Lantus vial is kaput. He was well regulated and after five days using new vial his numbers are much higher and flat.

We are thinking about you and Doodles and hoping that you get some answers soon.
