Yes, I went out of town last week and he lost his appetite. Numbers went up and the sitter took him in to my vet's (where she works). His stomach and abdomen where bloated so she did a barium swallow. She found a lot of air/gas but no blockages. The vet did blood work and urine for tests. We had discussed doing it in March anyway. He still doesn't look good and his kidney BUN levels is high. I would love to have someone check the test results and help me understand what they mean/ how to proceed. The vet said we just need to watch him (regarding kidneys). I don't know exactly what to do now.

His numbers aren't terrible....the BUN can be elevated due to high protein food as well as other things...his creatinine is normal so that's good...it's creeping up though so they'll want to keep an eye on it

The more concerning thing is the SDMA increasing......getting as much fluid into him as you can is the one thing I know is important

@Marje and Gracie is our pro at reading lab results, but she's out of town at a funeral right now. She does check in now and then though. You might want to send her a PM and ask her to take a look when she's able to

His phosphorous is going up a bit, too. You're already feeding low phos food, so don't know what else you could do about that. I'm glad the culture was negative and he's getting his appy back. Sending healing and appy vines to help him feel better.
