Titan 2/26

Happy Twosday to all:coffee:, well the ups and downs of pancreatitis are in full effect with Titan. He had a wonderful day yesterday, active, hungry and socially engaging. BGs were excellent. Unfortunately with a bit of pandemonium going on last night (all DH influenced) (me), I missed giving Titan his Cerenia and Metronidazole. He was in pretty good shape at 3:30 am when I got up and ate a bit but this morn he's off his food and acts as tho he's dealing with a flare up. Water intake is good so we will keep an eye on him today. Last Saturday the flare up only lasted about 6 hours before he felt better. I gave him his meds this morn so it's just wait and see. Tail pulls and chin scritches for the kitties. Ed

Pancreatitis isn't fun to deal with.
Oh we are learning, question if you know generally speaking how often between flare ups ? We were/are hoping it is weeks rather than days but not so far.
BTW yes the snow piles are VERY large. But melting fast this week

I'm learning, too. My civvie was diagnosed through the spec fPL test last August. It wasn't until last Friday that he went off his food completely and I tried ondansetron and he was eating again Saturday morning. It is possible he has had flares before, yet did not go off food completely.

Titan was feeling pretty good around noon, eating , drinking and counter surfing. Seems the flare up lasted about 6-8 hours and he was back to his self. BG's fell back into place also .
