Good Morning, Everyone,

After his amazing feat last night hoisting himself up and into his perch, Rusty is playing on the Yellow Team this morning. (But I think he was finishing his nighttime food about 45 minutes before we got up, so this number could be food- influenced. Whatever. We'll know better as the day progresses.) Rusty pulled away from his shot this morning, but I think it got in.
We had a good night. It was COLD and continues to be unseasonably COLD and very windy. My knee was lots better yesterday and is just a little stiff this morning, so I am hoping that it is on the road to complete recovery. Rusty and I just had a good combing/ brushing and he is meowing for me to come back downstairs to keep him company. (We don't know why he refuses to come upstairs--where our studies are--in the daytime. Just another one of those weird kitty things.)

Down you go, Rusty! Lagoonmeister needs to be, well.... ;-) ;-) Glad to hear your knee is doing better, Ella... especially with the cold weather! We've got a bout of it as well, and I'm just so ready for spring! Do you do any joint supplements? I've found that taking fish oil and a liquid glucosamine/chondroitin/msm really helps with my knees/hips. Hopefully, you're back out on the trails in no time (if it will EVER warm up! :lol: :lol: :lol: )

Woo hoo on the knee finally feeling better! You'll be on that mountain in no time ;-)

Silly Rusty, don't you know it's ok to go upstairs in the daytime? Maybe you should buy your bean a laptop so she could do condos downstairs...of course that might get in the way of schmoozing! :o

I hope Rusty gets back down to the lagoon today. Have a great Fursday, and stay warm :-D

Hi again, Rusty is either in a delayed bounce mode or he got a fur shot this morning (we did not smell Lev, however). He's been sleeping a lot all day. Maybe he wore himself out with his magnificent climb of the pedestal perch last night. Oh well, on we go!

Glad to hear the knee is improving. I found improvement to come at a snails pace, then all of a sudden it was better. What is unseasonably cold mean for you? Our kitties prefer the top floor and hardly ever go downstairs, but upstairs is where the kitchen is. :lol:

Normally at this time of year (end of Feb., beginning of March) we should have high temperatures in the 20s to low 30s F. Our temperatures this week have not gotten much above 10 F. (and have been at or below zero at night).

Thanks for the tip on the MCL, Wendy. Today is not as good as yesterday, but in general it is getting better (in fits and starts).

Rusty is asleep in his basket. He ate his +9 snack, but hasn't eaten his dinner yet. (This is not unusual; normally he eats it around +3, on the couch while watching TV!)

A jump up and a drop down. Maybe PMPS was a bad strip. We are about to turn in.

p.s. The ice palace is now a heap of huge ice cubes. We drove past it today on our way to Lake Placid. The next "event" will be the CHAIR and when it will fall through the ice. Then it will be spring!
 
Well that certainly does not look like Rusty to drop like that so maybe it was a bad strip! I read back through your condos and loved yesterday's story about Rustys great adventure :-D

I hope your knee will start to improve. That has to be difficult with you being as active as you are. I have to start on taxes this weekend. Ick!!!! Be careful on your trip to NYC.

Tobey made cimmamum chocolate chip crackles for his very fav Auntie Ellabean today. He certainly charmed his Aunt Josie last weekend.
