Good Monday Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is starting out green today after a good night sleeping between his beans. At some point he woke me up by sneezing in my face, but we all went back to sleep. This morning we had a good test, shot, breakfast (Wellness Turkey), and now Rusty is chillaxin' on his little bed by the radiator. In a little while I'll see if he's up for a game. It's 8 degrees outside, so still pretty cold. We're supposed to have rain showers this afternoon and the rest of the week we'll be having snow showers. That sounds good to me and Wednesday's forecast sounds perfect for the picnic (not too cold; some snow). I think I'll take advantage of today's rain showers and go to Plattsburgh this afternoon to do some food shopping for Rusty (we are just about out of freeze-dried chicken bits, which are the highlight of his day!--one of the highlights, anyway).

Everyone enjoy the day. Sending healing vines to all kitties and beans in need of them.

it is good to read that you will have decent weather for your picnic - no rain! :-D That should be such fun. Not too sure on the 8 there this morning - brrrrr! And to think that our 27 was viewed as major cold! Enjoy your trip to Plattsburg - buy good kitty fuds!

Wow, 8 degrees still sounds pretty cold! We're having rain, too, this afternoon, and I get all excited to see some nice rain. I'm glad Wednesday will be okay. Rusty sure is having some nice cycles. I think he needs to give Mags lessons. Have a wonderful day shopping for Rusty.

Have a good shopping day in Plattsburgh, Ella. I feel like I practically grew up there, with all the shopping trips I took there when I lived in Montreal. I will be a stone's throw from New York today, so I will wave hello. I am driving to the border at Niagara Falls to get finger printed, iris scanned, and interviewed for a Nexus pass for travel to the U.S. (My sister's idea - I sometimes travel with her family to Florida). I am glad of no snow for today's travels. Hope you, Edward, and Rusty have a great day.

Way to go Rusty!!! Keep up the great colors! After reading what your temp is this morning I guess I really shouldn't complain about our mere 28! Yikes! Have a good one!

Hi guys .. beautiful start to the day rusty! I don't blame you for wanting to relax by your radiator .. 8 degrees is cold, even with a furcoat on! I'm glad you'll have decent weather for your picnic .. Niagara Falls in the winter must be beautiful .. Have a great day guys!

It's nice to know that we can always come here to see green. Rusty seems to be settled in so you can go out and get him nore food! Very thoughtful of him.

Hi again,
Rusty food- buying trip to Plattsburgh successful. I got him a whole box of FF T&G and 2 bags of freeze-dried chicken bits. Rusty saw the case of T&G and was obviously expecting some for dinner (was disappointed when he got By Nature Turkey & Turkey Liver!). But he'll be happy with his FF bedtime snack from a fresh can.

Binks and I wanted to thank you for the Dietrich clip in his condo :-D :-D
We loved it :-D

We do have a tophat, but Binks seems to prefer his Garland Fedora- Get Happy is a huge fav for us.
(We like Marlene...but neither of us can hit those lovely deep notes of hers) :lol:

Your clip reminded me of Madeline Kahn's spoof in Blazing Saddles...

Kahn was fantastic, wasn't she? Of course she had good material to work with! I really like those early Dietrich movies. Did you ever see "Shanghai Express"? Great atmosphere and the memorable line: "It took more than one man to change my name to Shanghai Lily".

Rusty, beautiful cycle for such a handsome guy today.

Ella, I am so grateful for the great advice this morning. If it hadn't been for you, I would have chickened out altogether, Tink would have gotten no insulin at all, and be even higher (if that's possible) tonight.

Thanks for being there for us and helping me make the right decision.

Yep, Zener is back at the green lagoon tonight. Oops, just inched up to 101 after some carbs. Hopefully, he'll be right back. :-D

I looked up Plattsburgh on maps. Looks like a great location on Lake Champlain. Enjoy your snow. I hope we get a bunch tonight.
