Yesterday, lots of blue and green, small side trip to the sunshine.

Looks like Neko is adjusting to the slightly smaller dose. I much prefer solid blue nights for sleeping than low solid green. It's a typical Neko day again. She stood out on the deck for a couple of minutes, but quickly decided she prefers the sunny solarium. I spent some time with her and the zoom groom today. Yesterday I combed her and I swear that just loosened a bunch of hair. :roll: I still have to deal with the dreaded stomach and pants. :twisted: I think I've removed at least a kittens worth of fur so far. :lol:

Cheering on Scooter today, half way there! Sending tons of vines for Cinco and Pepper and any others that need it today.

Woo hoo Neko, work that juice! Hanging out in the lagoon pleases your beans very much, so head back down there, little girl ;-) . I guess all that hair could build another kitty for Theo to play with :lol: . Happy Fursday, Wendy! I hope you can have a good nights rest! Good luck with the rest of the grooming :-D

Oh Neko those are nice numbers! :-D

I have a kitty named Teddy and she like Neko is long haired beautiful kitty. She is also a farm girl and she hates getting brushed! Every time I see Neko's picture I think oh if only Teddy looked that good! :-D

Those are great numbers, Neko. And it is nice of you to be so patient while you get combed and brushed. (Rusty loves to be combed and would like it if we combed/brushed all day. He hasn't started to shed his winter coat yet, of course!)

Wendy, I'm waiting for the day when my knee pain "just disappears". Yesterday was promising, but today was disappointing. In general, however, I see a lot of improvement. Thanks for the pep talk.

"Normal temperatures" for this time of year are highs in the 20s-low 30s F. And lows at night in the single digits above zero F. Our highs this week are only a little above 10 F., and every night it goes below zero. Spring isn't just around the corner!

Woohoo! Nice job Neko on the numbers. She's feeling good, wanted outside for a while. A lot of the snow has melted so there are paths everywhere and the grass is showing. And Neko got a bunch of needles on her tummy fur. Yeah! Yet more for me to comb out. :roll:

@Andrea - I love the greens, but I love them a lot more during the day. Neko is notorious for diving at night.

@Rachel - Very appropriate name Fursday today. :lol: Theo would love another kitty. I should show him the kitten cams Liz and Tara posted. :lol:

@Carla - That +4 seemed to be her high point and then onset happened. :cool:

@Linda - I used to have a Persian kitty, needed combing every other day at least. Neko's long hair but not nearly so fine hair. But she still doesn't like combing. I suspect the arthritis makes it worse for her.

@Ella - My medium hair civie loves being combed and he's not the one who needs it. :roll: Neko's hair is much thicker and longer. I suspect Neko might be starting a bit of winter coat shedding. Ugh on your temperatures this week. I guess it's good for kitty snuggling.

Go Neko! Looks like she still might want to do some nighttime "dredging" :lol:

I think it would be cool to see Neko with all her beautiful black and white fur standing in snow. Soul Sista, even though she is also a born Canadian, thinks that would be brrrrrrrrrr :razz:

DH's cousin and uncle came over unexpected and asked if we wanted to go to dinner. We said sure, then Neko threw me a 69 which I restested and got a 70. :roll: So she got a little HC topper on her main meal and a bit more on her +1 from Otto. That +2 still has some HC influence.

My heart is broken for Nancy today. Every time a kitty here goes to the Bridge I feel sad, but when it's a sweet acrokitty it rips an even larger hole from my heart. Fly free sweet Pepper - send your mama some sunbeams.

@Rhiannon - Still haven't gotten to combing the tummy, bad enough cleaning up the forest of needles to start. Blue is nice, the :mrgreen: a surprise!

@Liz - She used to be fine going out in the snow, but not so much now. The bottom of our subdivision has no snow now, won't be much here soon.

@Janet - She's not actually very patient. :lol: I can't do it all at once. Joy of long haired cats.

@Marje - I was kind of hoping for a higher +2. Soul Sista has gotten soft living in Tucson. Her fur would be even plusher here. ;-)

Hmmm...onset might find you and Neko having a PJ party :lol:

LBG is purty durn plush for an Arizonan :lol: although I'm sure she doesn't compare to her Soul Sista :lol:
