WCR: Mocha earned an instant dose reduction last night down to a (S).50 (third time under 50 so dose reduction regardless) However, we have to leave our house by 11:30 (+3.5) for my uncles viewing today. Because of the funeral tomorrow, there really isn't much flex time in her shot today (give or take 10-15 minutes) Basically saying, we can't stall an hour today because of the time we have to leave tomorrow. What should we do? We will retest in a few minutes to see if she is going up, but like I said, we have to leave for several hours today, and at a specific time tomorrow.

I'd probably shoot 0.25u or skip. There's going to be carry over from the shed no matter what. Sometimes, you need to skip to get ahead of the shed. I think either a BCS dose or a skip seems warranted.

Ok thanks guys ..

We ended up retesting and got a 61 so we fed her MC and also started a new pen because peter accidentally dropped her current one on the floor. ohmygod_smile It's going to be a long day.

yikes! i see you shot a skinny 0.5u this morning.
there's shed action remaining. hope you don't end up having to take mocha with you today...

Hope today and tomorrow will go OK for you - Got to say that it's so nice to see how Mocha's finally been doing so well lately, I am SOO pleased for you guys and I am sure you will be fine, you are two of the best beans ever...! Mocha cannot but cooperate for you, I am quite sure, while you have these family things happening. (Ya hear me, Mocha?!!!)

ok .. at +2 she seems to be surfing so we fed some LC ... We'll test before we leave .... hopefully she just surfs the day away!

you can feed MC or HC before you leave, to give her an extra bump. I've done that plenty of times when I just felt like I needed an extra margin.

ok .. we HAVE to leave now .. so we are leaving her with HC and Karo, and then at 12 (+4) and 1 (+5) she has an autofeeder set up to feed MC .. then at 2 (+6) she will get LC .. then hoping she just surfs till we get back this evening. It might be and probably is overkill, but I think if she shoots up, she will be able to come back down.

Devon, I am sorry to hear about your Uncle.

I haven't been able to post recently but have been able to view - Mocha has been doing so incredibly awesome. I so hope her trend continues. (anti jinx and the usual disclaimer - I'm not saying anything :-D )

thankfully mocha must of surfed while we were out ..

Tomorrow morning we have to shoot and leave at 8 a.m. .. if she is low again, we will do the auto feeder and hope for the best ..

Good surfing there Mocha. I'm so sorry about your Uncle Devon. This must be a very hard time for you. Will hold you in my prayers.
