What a nice day for Mannie yesterday. He made green both cycles. :mrgreen: YAY! It was great to see him do this without too much intervention on my part. We have bounced a little this morning to a 309. I hope that he can clear this well, find the blues and greens again today. Whatcha say Mannie? A repeat of yesterday? Paws crossed! cat_pet_icon

I hadn't been to bed but a few minutes last night when I had a visitor - Mannie had decided to come and tuck me in. :-D It was so nice to have him curl up next to my shoulders, head under my chin. It didn't last long, he stayed maybe 5 minutes before migrating down to my feet. It still was way cool! :cool: This bean overslept this morning - by 20 minutes. :shock: It was so odd that I was not greeted by bellowing kitties when I finally did make it upstairs. :o I was met with that "ok so you're late - just get the fuds served" look. So I did. Breffis consumed, clean plate club status maintained. Purrs and leg rubs given while I got dressed. We have now wandered off to the nanner pile for some serious napping. Normalcy in MannieLand.

Kitties!!! We are off to the big city to visit Rusty today! Street vendor hot dogs to be found and consumed. YUM~ We have to be sure and bring Do Lou, cuz today is his birthday, and we need to celebrate. Hey kitchen krew - we should to make him a cake too - a cinnamon cake! Hi Michelle, I hope you had some sleep last night, depending on when you do the shot! I hope Mannie comes down nicely today and surfs. Maggie will only stay in bed for maybe ten minutes, and then off she goes to do her spying on the wildlife fror the patio window.

Hey Mannie,
Maggie says she will be ready to be picked up to visit Rusty in the city. I love hot dogs with everything on them! How bout some F fries, too?? And we will celebrate DoLou's birthday, too! what fun!

Hi Ann - yep, did ok last night... it was a decent night. It was nice to have Mannie come to the bed - it doesn't happen every night here either.

Maggie! YAY! I am sooooooooooo happy that you can come with us to visit Rusty in NYC - it is so fun!!! We alwasy take on the hot dog guys. They don't know what to make of all those kitties after their dogs. See you soon. ~~ Mannie

Yes...a gorgeous day for Mannie yesterday and how sweet that he woke you up like that!!!! Ahhh...Mannster!!!

Hope you are having warmer weather and a nice hike today. We have snow covering our mountains this morning.
Mannie..CAKE IS MY FAVORITE!!! Thanks Do Lou for having a birfday!!!! I'm ready to go...so is Tobey...he wants to practice the birthday thing since his is soon!

Hi Marjorie - it is slowly warming up. It was 29F when I got up, was about 32 when I headed on out. I figured with a pinks start today I might as well go, SO I did. Still some snow, some ice here and there. new added factor today: winds! Dang they were something fierce down at the shore. Had to be in the teens.... and there was this guy there fishing! FISHING! It was frigid down there. He had to be freezing his a$$ off.... But I did have a great morning walk/hike, wrapped it up with a trek to the coffee shop. HOORAY! ~O) ~O) wow on the snow on your mountains....

Grace - SWEET! I love cake too, and am glad Do Lou wanted to celebrate his with us. It will be fun. I hear Rusty is waiting for us, so I best get you guys like pronto. We will train Tobey well on the birthday thing, as we need to celebrate his with style. He is one of us! See you soon! ~~ Mannie

OMG, Chef Mannie!!! I'z haz my mostest bestest i-dee-uh eber!!! De bean iz makin mah fuds today.... venison, chicken livers, butter, some vitamin stuff to make me healthee... an' fish oil!!! Wud dat not make de best kitty sliders eber?!? She made a huge batch... I tink I'z can abscond wit sum an' by de time we runs out, she will haz forgot how much she made! 309 @ +11. darn.... we are back to the pinks. well it's a low pink, does have a faint yellow glow to it. maybe we will just call is a high yellow. :?

Hi Karrie - it did! I wish he'd do it more often. We had a stint several months ago where he came down every night for about a week. Curled up in the same spot, and just purred. He's stay for about half an hour, then take off for his kitty bed.

HI Christie - Thanks, and yes it was! I wish he'd do more. I do have a civvie that will sleep on my pillow, on top of my head. It's kind of funny, but nice too in a way. she stretches out, wraps her tummy around the top of my head and purrs. It's a good thing I'm usually too tired to mind the purrs.

Willie, my man! DUDE! Sliders are perfect. What an great idea - you are the bestest ever! That stuff she makes for you- your fuds - that does sound really good... you are lucky! I get his stuff in a can.... I will have to talk to my bean.... well anyways - pack the cooler, I will gets you, and then we are off! psssstttt - this is really cool - we gots this thing going on at radio city music hall too. oh and the DOGS!!! They are supremo - you'll love them ~~ Mannie

Looks like Mannie didn't want to go too low tonight so that he could enjoy the party without being interrupted with being poked too often. He'll come down soon I'm sure.

I'm not sure if Tori feels up to going to the party tonight. She's sleeping right now. Knowing her though she just might show up for a little while. She just better take her liver shake with her. Maybe a little piece of birthday cake will get her taste buds working again.

Hi Barb! You are probably right - he does love his parties. :-D The pmps was nice. I am always glad when they are not pink. I do hope all is well with your girl. She has been through so much, and holds a special place in my heart. Tori??? - I hope you feel well enough to come to the party. I can come and pick you up if you want. And make sure you are comfortable. I put extra fleece in the roadster, so it will be warm. Rusty's place is real nice and cozy. I hope you can make it. As much As i understood what she was saying - I'm thinking reductions often occur because we've dipped below the magic 40 number, or hit 40 3X, therefore NONE of them are the last good dose. Maybe I'm missing something.....

and no on harbor freight - but i did find one locally that was similar, lighted too, that I am now using. It has helped immensely with measuring the current dose.

and thanks - i know.... i just do not handle the 400's well, especially when there is no reason for them: he was fed 3% tonight, didn't dip low enough to warrant such a big bounce, yada, yada, yada.... what i would give for regulation, consistency. aiyee! well - we start anew in the morning.
