Lucy ate really well last night.
Her appetite this morning is a little lower than last night, but still OK.
Her mood is good, so she's feeling fine. :-D

I have to figure out how to remove all the mats from Lucy's back legs.
One needle almost got lost in her matted fur during the last acupuncture session.
Back legs are off limits, and one of the hardest area to work on.
Any tips or tool suggestion are very much appreciated!!!

Wonderful Lucy report! How' is Ginger feeling?

If you find any tricks about the mats, let me know...I've got two long-haired civvies who grow mats at the blink of an eye!!!

Hi Mariko! :-D I'm sorry that I don't have any advice for matted legs...I have enough trouble with trimming back claw toesies, those are a no no! :o

Lucy, that is a great low blue today! Surf it, and maybe visit the lagoon? I'm sending some appy vines, in case. Happy Fursday!

It seems that the prednisolone is winning this morning, so probably no lagoon during this cycle. :smile:

Ginger is doing fine, thank you for asking Amy.
She seems normal except her reduced appetite.
She ate sort of cautiously and didn't finish, but was happy to clean up with some tuna flake sprinkles.
She even asked for snack, and ate Wellness Turkey fine.
I think she is finally starting to notice that I changed something with her food, which I did.
I'll make a batch using the original pre-mix powder this weekend, and see how she eats it.
But I still want the reduced-phosphorus version to be her main diet due to CKD......
I think she eats BlueKat kangaroo well, so I'm thinking about giving that more often.....
It's strange because I made the changes a couple of months ago... confused_cat

I'm glad she's eating better now! These kitties are funny....they really do love to keep us guessing. One meal, Trix will eat her Wellness with minimal FortiFlora sprinkles....next meal, she'll need sprinkle after sprinkle after sprinkle of FortiFlora.

I'm glad Lucy is feeling good today and Ginger is better. I don't have any advice on the mats either. I got lucky the last time with Furball and the vet got them off for me.
