recap of yesterday:
amps - 283
+10 - 403
pmps - 376
+4.5 - 291

What a bunch of ugly numbers we have had on this bounce.

Tuscany is going to vet's tomorrow for recheck. She still is holding the head to the left and still doing the weaving while sitting. Still look weak with her walk. I haven't seen her fall over though in about 3-4 days. So the big question tomorrow will be - do we try some prednisone? Vet does have some adequan for me to start.

Hi Joyce,

I dont have any advise to offer, but hopefully you'll get some feedback today about that.

Good luck tomorrow at the vets, hope Tuscany feels better. cat_pet_icon

Hi Joyce!
Just poppin in to see how you two are doing. I hope the vet can tell you there is some improvement, even if you cant see it yet. What would you be starting the pred for? If for whatever reason you need to give it a shot...you want prednisoLONE rather than prednisone.
Here is some info why:

Hope you have a great night...and better numbers!!!!

Did the increase to a skinny 2.0 tonight. Wish us luck at vet tomorrow. (am also taking mama furface in for routine - isn't it fun to take 2 at once). Thanks caroline - prednisolone not prednisone. Hopefully the vet would know this. I also have the articles to take from Jess on the transdermal meds.

Tuscany is being a bit "lazy" with the litter box. She goes to it and I think gets in it - but isn't fully in and is backing her butt out of the box (or maybe is only getting front legs in?) I've resorted to "piddle pads" under the litter box to catch this. Just another thing in the age process I guess. (Heck, my mom wears depends - the cat does piddle pads.....)

I have 2 litter boxes in the same locale. Gabby insists on using the smaller of the boxes and will sometimes not aim well. I also think if the box has the litter filled a bit to high it effects her aim. I'm so glad I keep a bottle of Nature's Miracle around!!

Good luck at the vet tomorrow.
