Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty had a good night (one big sneezing spell during which he got out a lot of "gunk"). He has come down nicely from that unexpected bedtime bg of 237 (maybe it was a bad strip). The morning routine (including a schmooze) went well and at present he is eating his 2nd sitting of breakfast and calling for us to come downstairs to keep him company.

It's another beautiful, COLD, sunny winter day and expected to get colder tonight (back to below zero). I have my "fun" day all planned: getting the tax stuff together to take to our tax man in NYC next week. Gotta get busy! :lol: bbl,

Rusty has had a rest day of sorts and I have spent the whole afternoon on taxes. My head is splitting! Thank goodness it's almost time for a beer!

I'm glad Rusty got rid of all that gunk. I hope he's breathing good today. I hope Rusty heads back to the lagoon. I wish taxes were easier to do since we have to do them every year.

Nice recovery from that yucky yellow... Maybe it was a bad strip. UGH on the taxes. I've got to work on mine (and Anne's) too. Stay warm!

Hi again,
Rusty had the most amazing leap up into his perch. It is pretty high off the floor (high enough so that he has to use a footstool to get up onto it) and has a post that is a sissal scratcher. Tonight he was scratching on the post, extending himself to his full length, and then grabbed on to the bottom of the perch part and somehow pulled himself up over it--just like a mountain climber getting up over an overhanging rock! It was fantastic! Then he wanted to play with "Red Ears" (his toy that hangs from the perch) and played so hard that he fell out of the perch onto his basket! Now he's sleeping in his little bed by the radiator. We were mighty impressed with our kitty.

I've more or less finished putting together the tax info. for our tax accountant. What a chore! I wish I could do it myself, but there is too much to know these days.

Going to chillax this evening, but will be back later,

WOOT! Great story about the little mountain climber! :-D :-D I guess he does take after his mamabean. Nice little toe touch in the lagoon - Neko is back there again waiting for Rusty to join her.

I'm glad our taxes aren't due until after yours. I still haven't received most of the paperwork I need in the mail, so I'll ignore it for now. :lol:

Wow...impressive moves, Rusty!!! It sounds like he earned that nap by the radiator! Nice numbers today, too...wonderful stuff all around here today!

We only got about 2" of nuisance today...however, they are calling for another foot of this "stuff" (oh, it is SO hard for me to be polite about this!) on Monday. Seriously. Enough. But, I bet you wish you lived HERE!! I so wish I could share, since I know you do genuinely appreciate it. I went to college in Indiana, and those winters were a day at the beach compared to Winter 2013/2014 in NJ...crazy!

HI Ella - Sorry to be so late.... What a great day for Rusty, BG's are cool, and the leaping climbing kitty is pretty awesome! :cool: :cool: :cool:
