I am glad to see that Milo didn't stay in the 400's very long last night.

Yes Tina it is 3rd cycle. I'm glad the 400s just one check and not longer.

If I have to guess based on AMPS and yesterdays cycle I would say by + 2 you will be seeing yellow again and might even get to BLUE by nadir.

If you are doing mini meals on a Levemir cat, you probably want to do the timing a bit later than you would on a Lantus cat, due to the later onset and nadir. You want to feed less food when the insulin is waning (after nadir and before onset). Feeding carbs after nadir can slam the brakes on the insulin action.

Milo seems to hit nadir at about +8.
So after that until PMPS I should feed less? Or are you saying after I give shot wait until +2 or so to feed. I think mini meals helping. Just want to do correct for his insulin.

I'd feed the same amount at PS, but maybe no +1, so just delaying the start of the mini meals a bit.
