Good Morning LL!!
(YUM! Elsa outdid herself this morning: PRIMO!), and Happy Wacky Wednesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! GUESS WHAT! Today is WACKY WEDNESDAY!!! Just like every Wednesday Lola and Bug SWEAR that it won't be wacky pizzas, just wacky Wednesday. Whatever that means.... The whack-a-thon marathons continue. Excellent pizzas to the best whacker! so... well... Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Starbucks Pike Place Market, their original blend, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... It's Christmas! We have to have peppermint! ....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of mint and vanilla and cimmamum swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with peppermint chips and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts always on the menu!
I hope everyone had a great Tuesday, that the day was been a good one. It was a breffis with my son day, a get a haircut day, and then a let the day evolve day. That evolution led me to the river yesterday. The sun was out, more or less, the temps were up, more or less, and well.... couldn't say no to that so out I went, on a mini adventure.
Here's what I wrote last night about the day: "
Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Mine was great! Breakfast with Anthony was good. Nice time this morning, they always are. He's doing well. Not too much new at work for him, still treading water there. Boss has been gone alot so he is pretty much running the show. Rest of life is good. He is still trying to make the decision on what to remodel first in the house. He like all of us wishes it were spring. Cabin fever reigns there LOL. anyways - looking good, seems happy, smiles bound. GO KID! After breffis, and my haircut I decided a mini road trip was in order, time for a river visit. The sun was peeking trough, and I just couldn't waste that being indoors. So off to the Snoqualmie River I went. Loved being on the river today. What a great morning. I went to the Snoqulamie River by Twin falls, Olallie State Park, mainly to see how it was, ready for the boys etc. It was nice to see that there are no issues there, and whenever the weather says go, we shall. It wasn't running too high either, so that as nice. Granted that will change with the snow melt in the spring, but for now, not bad at all. One cannot get up to the Falls though. A mudslide has wiped out part of the trail. Bummer on that. well, no matter I guess - river was really great. I stopped in at Snoqulamie Falls on the way home, just cuz I could, and had the time. That was nice too, and not many there at all. LOL: windier there than at the river. I didn't do the trail down to the river, just didn't want to take the two hours time I would have taken to hike it. Anyways - very nice time out on the river today.
" The River album also contains alot of random shots I took while en-route to the river. The sky was incredible, so thought I'd take a few Photos.
Normalcy in MusketeerVille!
The kitties were good kitties yesterday, even Lola, for the most part... When I got home yesterday I decided to unwind a little and ride the indoor bike for a bit. I've been trying to do more of that, bike riding, as I find that those few minutes really do make a huge difference in my energy level. anyways - I get on the bike, and start peddling away. Within a few minutes I had an audience. Bug was just watching me trying to figure out what i was doing. ;-) Lola on the other hand was fascinated with the peddles. They go 'round and 'round, and so would her head.   Pretty soon her tail was twitching, as were those paws. The next thing I knew I had a paw pawing at my foot as I peddled. Whack followed that. Then out came the claws - she was determined to grab that circling foot. I laughed so hard when she connected, the claw got stuck in my sock, and around and around went her foot as she would not let go, and I didn't stop peddling.       She'd look at me, then at her circling paw with that look of "HUH?????" I was elated that she didn't decide chomping was in order.  That was so funny. I eventually reached down and un-hooked her. Funny thing was -she did it again, twice!    Silly cat. Bug was still watching this unfold, and Elsa, per the norm, was nowhere to be found. A for sure case of Normalcy in MusketeerVille!
Have a great day everyone. I am back on Nicholas and William duty today. Nicholas and I are off to swim this morning, while William spends that time at the other grandparents. We are due for some possible sunny weather in the afternoon, maybe we will get lucky and see that yellow thing in the sky.
HOPE SO! A trip to the park with the beach would be prefect for the afternoon. I will try and get to condos when I can....
