OMG HE'S GREEN!!!

We had a good test, shoot and feed this morning, i woke up to him pressed up against me so tightly and purring up a storm.....what a sweetie :-D I thought to myself "he's probably not going to be coming down anytime soon so i might as well sleep in without setting my alarm" when i got up at +5 and checked him i almost fell over. I fed him some 1% for a snack and just checked him again, i yelled i was so happy and Leo meowed loudly too. He's acting a bit blah right now, i guess its to be expected since he hasn't seen green in almost a month. I'm kinda worried about how low he might go since he's on such a big dose, i'll grab another test in an hour and if he keeps going down i'll feed him some MC.

Cute story, yesterday Leo was napping beside me on the couch and started twitching, paws, tail and mouth were just a goin' then he gave one big twitch and woke himself up, then gave one giant hiss, looked around and realized he was awake and settled back down.  I wonder what he was dreaming about?

I've been busy packing up a storm for our move on Wednesday and haven't and probably won't be around much. I'm thinking about everyone and hoping all kitties and beans are doing well.

Hey Leo, you're green!! Meet you at the lagoon, OK?
Rusty

Hi Tracy, What a neat story about the dreaming Leo. Good luck with the vet appointment on Tuesday and I hope that Leo's teeth will not be a major production. Are you moving-moving on Wednesday? or just moving Leo to your parents' prior to going back out in the field?

Hope you're having a good, restful weekend. Sleep is good!!

Ella, we are moving-moving on Wednesday to a new place. I'm still not sure if i'll go back to work on Friday, if Leo needs a dental i'd rather have it done ASAP (i'm hoping Thursday) rather than later and will use some of my vacation days to stay with Leo for the week.

Yay green - go Leo!!!!

What a funny story about his dream! I've seen my kitties twitch, but I've never seen anyone wake up and hiss - lol!!!

Good luck with the move! We'll be thinking of you!!

Glad to see Leo in green...he was serious about it today. That's a very charming story about his dreaming and waking up with a hiss.....wish we knew what that was about!

The ipad app is "Fun and Games for Cats". It's free.

Have a great day. :-D

Thanks for stopping by ladies, and thank you Marje for the app name, i downloaded it and Leo was very intrigued by the mouse, but didn't try batting at it.

Leo was hungry around +6.5 and i wasn't too sure what to feed him, so i fed some 7% Friskies T&G, so his +7 is food related and hopefully he comes back down to greens and surfs, i'm not taking off the green smilie because we've worked so hard to finally see it!!!!

Re: 2/26 Leo AMPS 373, +5 122, +6 92, +7 112

I agree: keep the green smiley! My policy is keep the green smiley for the whole cycle if there is any green during the cycle at all.

How was the trip from DGps to your place?

Hi Tracy.....I agree on green being an exciting color :-D
How adorable that Leo woke up and hissed at the bad guy in the dream.

Re: 2/26 Leo AMPS 373, +5 122, +6 92, +7 112

Oh darn, i forgot to tell everyone how Leo's car ride was back home from DGP's. I tried putting him on the floor in his carrier, but the carrier was too big to fit in the front or in the back (on the floor, Leo was very specific about wanting to be on the floor) I debated putting him in the very back of my SUV but decided against it. So i put him on the front seat in his carrier with a blanket over top everything and we set off! It didn't go so well, he freaked out big time, so i took him out and put his pillow on my lap and thought i'd try the calm-stress free trip.....it worked like a charm!!!!! :-D I talked normally to him and didn't mention a word about "we're almost there, or please calm down" and he sat on my lap and meowed once in awhile but the shaking, freaking out, etc didn't happen! Leo did mention wanting to try Rescue Remedy, he thought he would like to try it rubbed on his ears and his paw pads, he also said he wasn't opposed to being sedated, he said he would be willing to try it!! So i've gotta try tracking down some Rescue Remedy this week.

Hi Tracy, I'm glad to hear this trip went better! They sure do pick up on our moods. We gave Rescue Remedy to Zener several years ago when I was about to leave for Switzerland for 5 months and he was rather agitated about the whole thing, probably because I was.  It helped a bunch to talk to Terri (animal communicator).

That was very cute about Leo hissing. Have a great week!

leo saw green! wahoo! loved the story about him waking himself up - my daughter's cat is like that. he's a hoot - he'll come out of it with a big hiss, just in case anyone was about to attack him!

punkin was unmoved by rescue remedy. first i tried a little on the paws and cheeks. then i added i think 4 drops to his food. eventually i moved up to an entire dropperful of RR - i swear he was unaffected by all of it. he'd rather yowl, thankyouverymuch!

good luck with your move - and let us know about the dental! he's looking better on this dose. many people told me it's not about the size of the dose, it's about the BG numbers. :YMHUG:
